People blame tragedies that they don't have an answer for on the unknown. Most adults still don't understand the culture of videogames, just as movies were misunderstood back in the day. 20 years from now most adults will be very familiar with video games and realize that they don't make you any more violent then watching a movie. Wow, this is actually a very interesting concept. Surprised no one had thought of it before. I don't think it's something I would every take part in though, for two reasons.
