I understand what he's saying and I did read the article itself, but it all just comes off as an attempt to stir up an argument. One that falls heavy on an 'issue' that is very prominent in todays industry.
Playing as a female in a game that allows a custom character is just a personal choice. Grand Theft Auto V is a story based experience, and one that - due to the context and themes of the plot, requires three male protagonists. It was the creators choice and vi...
We've already had what N4G users laughably call a 'discussion' on this very topic:

I guess every video game nowadays requires a strong female protagonist with warts and absolutely no sex appeal? It's going from one extreme to the other. Just for a change, how about we discuss how offensive and degradin...
Talk about beating a dead horse....
Someone should post a list of overly sexualized male characters.
Preach on, my son! It's nothing to do with favoring one company over another, God knows Sony have their fair share of blunders (as does any company) but this last slap dash attempt to get preorders is just a sad move, albeit not surprising.
It all comes down to bad business practice and leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths.
You can't deny - it all sounds like a last minute desperate attempt to grab a few pre-orders before launch.
Wow.... talk about desperate. Still, the more people that enjoy the game, the better!
So no one has played the final builds, but apparently you have...
You don't seriously think this is legit do you?
...no. There is so much wrong with this that it's just laughable really. For instance, half of the images on the boxes are just screencaps from the trailers. I understand box art changes across the world - but this is arguably the worst fake yet. The fact that these people went to the trouble of making a video, uploading it and trying to sell it off as legit is just sad.
Right, and a demo is supposed to demonstrate a game. If that demonstration is disappointing, then they've failed.
If the game is subject to undergo many changes and a possible overhaul, then perhaps you shouldn't 'demo' the game in the first place. The game already looks far different from what we saw at E3, suggesting that it wasn't quite ready to be shown - which by extension gives the impression that Crytek have no idea what they're doing. I want EV...
In before the massive influx of posts shouting how this is somehow the PS3's fault and not just due to crappy optimization by the developers.
I'll tell you why I think it's fake...
A) Only the PS3 version has been leaked due to the assets found in the preloaded download from the PSN store. This footage is *allegedly* from the Xbox 360 version of the game.
B) The 'game' loads very quickly...
C) Some lame ass excuse why he can't show gameplay.
The leaked assets we've seen so far have been audio files and video files that show on TV and such. ...
So fake...
This links to an article about Nobuo Uematsu... How did this get approved?
Godspeed brave pilots, you magnificent son of a gun!
He probably got *told* to leave because of his extremely poor public relations skills.
You people DO know that the Quadro series have always been for professional workstations and not really designed for gaming and such, right?
"As I said in the title, GTA V on PC, this is not confirmed, but Rockstar Leeds have put up a job opening..."
Wow, talk about misleading.
God of War is a tired franchise that has, quite honestly, gone on too long as it is. There's been virtually zero improvements (besides graphics) and it just feels very stale at this point.
Urgh, I thought this horse was dead already. Even IF Rockstar included a female protagonist, there would have been complaints regarding how it is a poor representation of women and would have offended people in one way or another. That, and it would have just given the impression that Rockstar felt obligated to include a female protagonist just for the sake of appeasing a small, but loud, minority that get their panties in a twist over every little thing in todays world. Damned if you do, dam...
