You will not get your code. The order will take, and you'll get a confirmation, but it won't send the follow up email with the code in.
Well as I understand it, it was supposed to 'ship' when you buy a graphics card, so I guess they just see no other items on the invoice, therefore being impossible to buy the code, resulting in your order being cancelled.
I'm certainly not going to make a scene by complaining to corporate about not being able to get a game that, by rights - I shouldn't have access to anyway.

No longer works. I got an email saying my order was cancelled due to not being able to verify quantities. Oh well! I already own the game anyway. It's pretty damn good!
Regardless of figures, we're still talking likely under 5fps difference, even IF there's any at all. It's all PR bs to get people ranting and raving. I have a very high end rig so I'm not worried anyway, but it just seems like a waste of time.
About 20 years late and tied to a franchise with absolutely no relevance nowadays. Who even asked for this game?

Why not just make it optimized for both platforms? Surely, business speaking, alienating one half of your consumer base is not a smart move. Obviously EA/Dice are in bed with AMD and have been given a lot of money to make such claims - but I seriously can't see there being a big difference, just as there wasn't with nVIDIA optimized games over AMD. To everyone else defending this title, think about this: everyone who seems to have a negative opinion or prediction for this game (myself included) is going by what they physically SAW being demonstrated at E3. Now pardon me for sounding patronizing, but the whole point of a gameplay demonstration is to demonstrate what the final product will look like. The world of 'The Last of Us' feels very natural and real in its execution. It's an incredibly convincing environment and yes, can immerse you. This is until the AI does something stupid or you see some glitch that just kills the mood. But before you hit that 'disagree' button, please understand that I'm not as naive to think that this is the only game with glitches or questionable AI, they practically ALL do. As popular as this series is, I still think it's incredibly under-appreciated in terms of how influential it was to the 3D adventure genre. I never had a problem with the controls then, and I don't have a problem with them now. I find myself more precise with the old TR games than with most new 3D games for the simple reason that everything, movement wise, in the old games was more or less on a grid. With analog movement, things seem to be more finicky and imprecise, IMO.
This guy is just not good at public relations and should not be the 'face' of anything.
