You and me both, Lon3wolf. I want a full new game or a REALLY good remaster. I think in today's market, it'd actually do a lot better under the proper team.
Day one was definitely a solid mess. I remember having to wait for the patch during launch day because it was such a jumbled mess, but with time and love, they got it running. It's a shame that Hanbitsoft or Perfect World haven't tried bringing it back to life outside of Korea. Would be fun t see and play. It was way ahead of its time for an FPS loot shooter for sure.
You can actually play it today! The fan revival has been a solid experience for me so far (aside from getting a good disc off Ebay or Amazon).
It's still alive, haha. There's a fan revival currently going on that just entered Open Alpha. I've actually tried it out. It's actually pretty solid and their servers are definitely as good as you'd hope for a private server.
They actually are. It'll be a VR game. Not sure what Hanbitsoft is thinking. Supposedly Hellgate is doing GREAT in Korea, but not-so-much outside of it besides a fan revive called Hellgate: 2038. I'd actually love to see Bandai and the creators of DOOM team up for another rumble against Hell's forces.
Agreed. Honestly, I want all of that back. I want to see the creativity the first game had and see it completely dominate in Destiny 2. Do I think it will happen? Yes, eventually, but it won't happen fast enough. That could take them months to implement if they even do it.
I think the biggest point in here isn't just the microtransactions. I think one of the BIGGEST problems is actually its lack of content. I feel that Destiny 2 isn't as immersive, it doesn't have as much replayability. I've hit 310 on all my characters and I have no want to go higher. I've since returned to Destiny. I'm enjoying it a lot more and I feel like there's so much more to the game that I was missing out on when I first looked at it.

That one was brilliant. Wait until PayDay 2 launches
Morganfell, I'm not sure you read the article at this point. I didn't state anywhere within it that Microsoft was going to win 2018. I didn't say that they can beat Sony, Nintendo or anyone else on the market. What I did say is that they have a chance to win back fans, that they have a chance to show Xbox loyalists that they made a wise decision with investing in the Microsoft brand.
I or anyone would be dumb to think Microsoft is going to win this year. We all ...
Not sure how their editor didn't catch this. PUBG isn't in beta on PC. It's in full release while Xbox is still in Beta/Game Preview on console.
The article covers it all. It's a full-on discussion of steps that can be taken in order to help improve not just the quality of life but even possibly reinvigorate members of their former fanbase into coming back to the Xbox family.
A dedicated music player would be amazing. I would actually love to listen to my music on my thumb drive or even my wireless HDD
I do not know. Definitely, something I'll look into. Thanks for the tip.
Neither can I. It can't release soon enough.
I'm still dropping titans like they're hot. Who doesn't want to drop them like its hot? Titanfall 2 is quite easily one of the most balanced FPS titles in recent years. Sure, its first game was a staggering mess. It was rushed, it was ugly, and it had a lot of work cut out for it, but Respawn came back swinging with Titanfall 2. The only thing that sucked? EA wanted to go down their "Games as a Service" model they've been so adamant about. They wanted to monetize it,...
I'm with you, Firebird. I thought they were supposed to as well.
Don't forget Steam summer sale or PSN flash sales.
It did. It sucks. I really think that a lot of these games are hurting from Overwatch.
