Didn't you know it was all that metal music and violent movies? I mean, how else do you explain it?!
They can't. They always want to point the finger at an existential reason rather than the problem itself: the person.
Actually, it does. @Baza. I saved over 200-300 just in games alone last year and around that this year due to my running a publisher and being a streamer. I gained more than I lost because of the savings. When it to the stuff I want? I've almost gone digital due to ease of access, but there is the occasional "I want this" that pops up and leads me to order stuff, but if that's the case? I just head to the mall about 30 minutes away.

In this case it was myself and the junior editor that chose the pictures, not the writer. We felt the Stan Lee image would not be spoiler due to his early it appears in the game. We are sorry that it irritated or irked those of you who found it problematic. It has been removed from the review and all images are being replaces by the writer.
I'm sorry it disgruntles you. I don't choose the images that get posted on reviews that aren't my own. I let the reviewers choose what they wish and we agreed that this was a catching one. I will discuss it with the reviewer about changing the overall image, but it won't change the picture interface on N4G if they change it
We're an actual website, not a blog. I guess you can consider most gaming news sites blogs anymore if you wish. I see the context in how you are approaching it. Our writer that reviewed Spider-Man has his own unique approach to how he reviews a game. He likes to tell them as more of a story meets review than your cookie-cutter approach. They felt this one wasn't necessarily spoilerish as you would have to play the game to know the context in how it was used. For all people know, it c...
The journal was a metaphor for the overall experience. An idea of "what was and could have been" mental note. No, I didn't actually keep a journal when playing outside of locales I needed to go back to and couldn't mark on the map due to other markers.
The issue here is we are forgetting to take a few things into account. One, the games have not been optimized for the RTX line of GPUs. Secondly, drivers may not be available to enable the games to be optimized for the hardware itself, making it undeniably poor excuse to release evaluations of the hardware at this time.
As a PC and PS4 gamer, we have to take in account that developers are also going to need to release compatibility patches for the hardware. It's not ju...
Yup. Once a fraud, always a fraud. I stream a good chunk of the games I review even though the publishers would probably like their reviews sooner than later. I'd rather my viewers see the transparency in the content I create.
Care to tell me how those of us that actually value our integrity as writers and members of the community are on our way out? Sure, some of the big dogs are screwing up, but that doesn't mean all of us are actually on our way out. It leaves those of us who are the smaller guys, the ones continually striving to do the right thing, a lot of room to grow.
Yea they have. It's definitely far more impressive in person on a phone with UHD capabilities. I was shocked seeing it on an iPhone X. It literally looks like it could have been made for the Switch.
It actually would play decently well on a Samsung Gear as long as it allowed for a Bluetooth controller. I'd be completely sold on playing it that way. So I'm right there with you.
I've been looking into The Quiet Man. I'm wondering if we'll see more about it and some of the other smaller games later this year at PSX, Gamescom or The Game Awards.
Wasn't it earlier this year when Tetsuya Nomura said they were focusing all of their efforts on Kingdom Hearts III and then focusing fully on Final Fantasy VII Remake due to the sheer scope of what they are trying to accomplish?
@Richerich, any of the games since FFX? A lot of people loved FFXII and its remaster Zodiac Age. Quite a few people have seemed pretty fond of Square's other works as well. FFXIV, while a different team within the Square Enix umbrella, has been doing quite well for itself and remains one of the most played MMO's to date.
While FFXV has been rather different from the rest, it was a rather strong title and still gets support to this day while others do not. We're ...
FFXV's biggest mistake was truly that. The fact they couldn't get it running on PS3, but it wasn't the first game, and it was certainly not the last. It took forever for Skyrim to even launch on PS3 and even then, it was an utter mess, and barely worked as they had wished. I think FFXV was worth the wait though. I've enjoyed it quite a bit. It definitely felt like a fresh breath of air.
I'd say, they don't. They aren't a company that rushes games out to meet player demands. That's wheir bread and butter. They give their developers time to make strong titles that feel rather well rounded. I was actually astonished by the amount of polish their releases have had over the years. I'd rather this than a game that feels pushed out and half-assed.
According to Tetsuya Nomura said it's moving along quicker than expected when it comes to development, however, he does feel it was announced way too early at this point in time, but he said the same about Kingdom Hearts III. I'd suspect we won't see FFVII Remake until the end of this generation or the beginning of next. I don't mind, however. I'd prefer a fleshed out game, one that doesn't feel rushed and unorganized like some of today's bigger titles.
I've actually walked away. The only account I have Destiny 2 on is. Well, none. I've moved on. I'm actually having a blast with Vermintide 2 (yes it's completely different game, but the point remains) and feel that it has much better content, higher quality gameplay mechanics, and TRULY feels like it appreciates the core value of teamwork and working with your friends if they are playing with you.
Before this update, I'd not played Curse of Osiris since ...
This is the primary reason I actually signed up for Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked. I've had only three pre-orders not show up or damaged and they INSTANTLY scrambled and found a solution. Sadly, this isn't new problem for Amazon. I had to go to Best Buy for God of War and Shadow of the Colossus since Amazon couldn't fulfill my orders. I'm really thinking Amazon and Sony can't come to terms with the Amazon Prime discount for games. At least Best Buy has my back at thi...
The third one wasn't actually half bad to be quite honest. Don't go looking for the horror elements in it though. Something about the co-op took it out, but it still had the Dead Space DNA altogether and still kept that sense of horror-survival while leaning more into the action-horror genre.
Definitely recommend giving it a shot.
