I'm still trying to figure out how he says "allowing the SNES to win the 16 bit era." There are MANY people and articles that claim the SNES won recently. I suggest they go back and read what really happened. The Genesis won the 16 bit era quite handily.
The Cars are a good choice. Full band environment with well known and liked songs. If you don't like this release, wait for the next one. It's not forced on you. Not everyone has the same musical tastes. At least they aren't putting out universally hated albums.

10 does NOT mean perfect! It means extremely well executed. What's the point of having a 10 point system if 10's don't exist? It's like never giving out 4 star ratings for film because the "perfect" movie can't exist.
Should 10's be rare? Yes. Should they never be given out? No.
