Is it like old pc cdroms where the audio isn't included in the byte count? If the audio is all lossless this could be a reason why.

My approval was for the "Welcome Boxes" and not the sales data. I found the "Welcome Boxes" to be newsworthy as I'm fairly certain that they hadn't been seen on the site yet. As for being a source for sales data, I agree that Amazon is not a scientific source of this type.

You didn't really avoid enemies in Golgo 13. It was a shooter. So were the James Bond games for the Atari and Colecovision. Metal Gear was the first game where you actually could sneak around enemies and avoid confrontation.
