keep calling the "16-bit era" the golden age of video games. They're about 10 years late in their assessment. Most people acknowledge 1980-1984 to be the golden age.
God of War vs. Dante's Inferno is a much easier comparison.

However, the Genesis version was much better.
They failed to bring the PC Engine's massive library outside of it's home country. That's why it wasn't that big outside of Japan.
It was an arcade game before the TG16 port.
Subcontrollers are really a convenience. Sony has already said that the dual shock can be substituted for the subcontroller.
I used to play Vice City on PC holding the dual shock in one hand and the mouse for aiming all the time. It's not very hard to do, and is much cheaper than buying $25 add-ons.
Having to drive around on your motorbike just to get your motorcycle skill up to a level where you weren't wobbling around was a pain.
Most importantly, it was unnecessary and mandatory.
I absolutely hated the RPG elements in SA. I'm all for customization, but only when it's optional.
Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin on Sega CD was one of the most cringe inducing voice acting I've ever heard.
