I went through all the multiplayer games 3.5 times before I got it. That's why RDR saves all your MP stats on your machine. I doubt it's going to change for this release.

As a reminder of how gameplay is more important than graphics, there's tons of games made even in the 70's that are amazing. Four player Warlords on the 2600 is *still* a blast to play with friends.
Well, they could always delete the save after you have loaded it. FFT: Advanced did this. It prevented that exact situation while giving you the convenience of a save file.
How's that going to help for trophies? I don't think it'll be useful other than finishing the game.
