Exactly. 2.4's In game XMB was a godsend. Trophies were just icing on the cake at that point.

Yeah, you should keep that copy of Toy Story on VHS! No one should have to buy it again on Blu-ray. Screw paying for that movie twice! (Three times if you include DVD.)
