Am I the only one who likes Link's Awakening BETTER than this one?

This is what happens when that dollar comes first. Maybe next time treating your employees like actual humans, and putting the needs of your workers first will net more for the company instead of just making more money.

He's the biggest reason why I stopped buying Activision games after his quote back during MW2 release in 2009 regarding cutting content and selling back to the customer as dlc.

Reading the article within the article, depending on how severe the issue is determines on what happens next. The article also explains the various situations and what can happen if those involved are caught.

In short - you have to really do something stupid to get a franchise ban. I support the idea of having a franchise ban if the situation calls for it; at the same time make sure there's sufficient evidence along with proof so the guilty can see what they did wro...

Praise is when the glitch/exploit is caught, acknowledged, and/or taken care of soon as possible. Bungie knew about this for a long time and did nothing until people whined and complained about it - which is where the hate comes in.

"This isn’t new information for the company either, it seems, as Bungie has been aware of the glitch for a few months. " (Verbatim from the article)

This isn't hating on Bungie just to hate on them, this is an i...

So Bungie is NOW banning people for something they've known for a long time as it is? You can keep this garbage of a game and glad I stopped after Dark Below from the first game.

I'm surprised the video didn't bug or glitch out.

1. Games are only online as long as their popular, and/or the player base is healthy. Once numbers drop the servers can be turned off which means lost data. Some would argue "if you didn't play the game for X time, then don't complain because you didn't care" when there could be a number of reasons why someone stopped playing something.

2. You're on PD clock/time; not your own. If there's server maintenance, ...

Outside patches and/or the occasional co-op, offline gaming should still be a standard.

Before arguing cheaters, have the offline and online different; this way what you do/have doesn't carry over and you have to actually show skill.

Before arguing patches/updates, be transparent and announce ahead of time so people can plan accordingly.

No achievements/trophies tied to online.

From a customer standpoint, this c...

Can we have games release in a genre without the need of comparing other games?

1618d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's the same with music and even TV/Movies - older is better in this case. We have the tech to make new experiences, to only push political agendas because of a few kids screaming on social media. Maybe if these companies listen to the people who put them in the position(s) they're at today, sales would go up and the constant nagging of re-releases would be slim.

Am I the only one who prefers Capcom vs SNK 2 over MvC 2?

The first MvC holds a special place, 2 not so much.

I'll play MvC 2 but not to the extent as either 1 or Capcom vs SNK 2.

I want good games. I want something I can visit multiple times and still have the same experience(s) as I did first play through.

If the allegations are gaining this much steam, it's disturbing. And disturbing as in waiting until there's legal action to act like it's something that needs to be fixed instead of taking care of the issues as they were occuring. This is just PR trying to save face, salvage, and justify the whole situation instead of actually going after the root issue - money. As long as the bottom line goes up, and profits are there, the people complaining are just a number to be rotated out...

I'm growing so tired of these Switch vs Steam Deck articles. They're both handhelds and that's where the similarities stop. Both are catering to different markets, and both have their ups and downs. I almost bought a Switch but now that the Steam Deck is a real thing, I'll buy it instead. Why? Because it fits my gamer needs.

Nintendo is a shell of its former self. I want the 90s Nintendo back when it was about NES, SNES, and N64 on top of Game Boy; n...

One is a dedicated gaming device, the other is a portable device with multiple functions/uses depending on the user. Personally, I'd side with the Steam Deck on how open the options are regarding gaming and other functions, and costing almost the same as the Switch itself. Also, I have yet to play a bad game from Valve; I can't say the same involving Nintendo.

My only question is how would mod support work with certain games? I gotta have my mods for Fallout New Vegas.

Currently the next gen is with the scalpers until more units are widely available.

Easy - older games have more replay value, more fun, and are complete experiences.

I can boot up Fallout New Vegas and play for hours on end, and forget what time it is. I boot up Fallout 4, I'm turning it off after about 1-2 hours.

Farcry 2 I can play all day as well, and even come up with creative ways to kill enemies. Farcry 5? You can keep it.

Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2? All day long. Newer games? No.

From my personal experiences, here's the games I vote higher than Fallout that followed a lot of the same formula:

Wasteland 2 (following the original Fallout games prior to 3)
Cyberpunk 2077 (buggy but still a fun experience)
