Despite 99% of the internet hating on this game, I actually enjoyed it. I played the game like I do a new Bethesda release - play for about 2-3 hours, have 2 saves, and start fresh. I had minimal bugs during my PS4 Pro play through. On PC I downloaded some mods to help make some areas of the game more playable that were problems on the PS4. Now that I own a PS5, and was able to play on there, same thing; minimal issues and still the same fun game.

Point still stands. MS gets devs to say one thing and do another. If YOU learn to read between the lines, you would know that's exactly what they do every single time.
I'll give the higher tiers a chance when I can access what I paid on the PS3 and 4. I just want to play Capcom vs SNK 2 and Marvel vs Capcom on the newer gen.

What MS forgets to realize, not everyone has reliable Internet, and not everyone wants MP focused content.

I'm enjoying my Steam Deck. My only (and mean only) issue is having 4 buttons on the right side next to the analog instead of 6. From a design standpoint what Valve made works, and it is a good piece of hardware; from a customer standpoint having the extra 2 buttons in some games would make things easier especially with fighting games.

Sega went 3rd party because of miscommunication between the East and West. I remember when the Saturn was said to be ready day of reveal instead of the planned release date to jump ahead of the competition which led to massive amounts of bad games and a short lifespan. Dreamcast had potential but gave up in the West and in the East was still going on for a while.

Nintendo, Sony, and Steam found that making good games is what brings in customers. I'd make a wish for MS to drop out so Sega can come back as a console again so we have good competition and not who has the biggest checkbook.
I might me the minority here, but remasters/remakes I looked at as a way to make the game in mind with current tech that wasn't available in the past.

I thought 2 was a better story because you see both sides. One is a father/daughter type of setup, and 2 is how revenge isn't as sweet as expected.

How about investigating why Nintendo games are being pirated, and adjust accordingly. With paying $60+ for a game, internet videos will only do so much justice; also a lot of people want some sort of beta/demo prior to purchase.
What made the original games good is the CG backgrounds with the polygon anime style characters. Also the games were more fixed camera and not 3rd person (I don't count the 3rd game that's isometric),
I completed 1 and 2 Retro Helix, and don't like the 3rd game. As of right now this remake is a hard pass until the game is what the series is about - edgy with a good story.

And before anyone goes on the rage, I have played on a Switch with some games I did want to test out, and outside 2 games I was honestly not impressed.
I'd actually play the game with this mod on. My only question since this wasn't mentioned in the article - are the NPC's also in their retro look or just the main characters?
