I actually liked DNF mainly for the 90's parodies and references it had; reminded me of the last decade with some sort of common sense. No it wasn't the greatest game but it at least put a smile on my face knowing there's people who still remember some part of the 90's and poke fun at it.
If anything I'd put Activision on that list as #1.
The root of all this is irresponsible parents, the media fabricating negative news more than positive, and people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions.
It really pisses me off when games are under fire because some dumb f-ck decided to cause a disaster, and use the scapegoat "Video gaming" or "movies" to curb further punishment instead of just coming clean; at least find out the persons' background, medical history, and what could have...
On n4g "PS3 overtaking 360" is far more important than the senate and gaming companies talking - which is very important. On another gaming website they have at least 2 articles on the main page about the latest talks and what's been discussed, no final words yet however. On here if it's not console bashing or "my console sold more than yours" then it's not front page worthy, or worth even reading.
I remember during the Columbine shooting the...
I wonder if you can use your own controller on one, I have a usb port for a PS2 Controller I'd like to use on it.
@miDnIghtEr20C_SfF
"How did those exclusives do for the PS3 in 2012? How's that SSB clone selling?" You talk of having choices/options is a bad thing; and smart shoppers like me wait for good deals to buy a game, just because it's advertised that you "have" to buy it day one doesn't mean you do. In fact I still have games I have yet to even play because I'm that backlogged.
@Snookies
Because people like h...
I'm waiting on official word from Sony that it's dead or retired before I'd put it in that category. They did stop shipments but I want the actual word before going further.
I'm surprised Socom 2 didn't make that list, but I'm glad Vice City/San Andreas did.
Probably games no one cares for, maybe a few "OH MY GOD" moments but not enough to warrant paid games. Also probably to deter people from using MAME.
I still refuse to give kotaku hits for their site; and this alone further proves my point to all the idiots who post how much they hate their job on facebook yet whine and bitch when they get fired for whatever reason. You wouldn't believe how many people got caught skipping work after "posting" it.
They HAD to list the games on each page!
No read from me.
I'd vote it as one of the best of the PS1 era, but I wouldn't say it's #1, I'd give that to Legend of Dragoon.
Xenogears was one of the games that sold me on the PS1 back when I was in high school. I remember the Pizza Hut demo with this, the opening of Bushido Blade 2, movies of FF8, and I forgot the rest. The story alone kept me interested, and the combat was different from the typical RPG, my only complaint was how off the audio was with the scenes.
I saw they re-released this on PSN and I plan on picking it up in the future; right now I still have some games I have yet to even o...
@360ICE
Actually a lot of people I know bought a Vita when they found out you can play PS1 games off it; so they had a lot of their favorites on the go without the need of a PS1 anymore outside certain games that's not on the store.
I agree; depending on the type of game determines how long it takes for me to either like it or hate it. I've played some games where I couldn't put the controller down (Fallout 3) and some games I didn't even make it past the first Cut Scene (Final Fantasy 10-2).
My longest stretch was when Fallout 3 first came out, and I remember playing from 9 pm to 8 am the next day (and I had to work in a couple of hours from that). Shortest stretch was the opening of Final...
Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2, I'd vote him at #1
Anymore it's a publicity stunt for the NRA; like you said irresponsible owners at fault, yet they need something to blame to take the heat off the real issue.
I voted down Kotaku and after what you posted refused to even read the article now, thanks for saving me from giving them a hit.
