I miss the days when games were 100% complete before release date; now if we're lucky they're 75% with pre-cut content. So far Namco is one company I respect because they provided DLC characters for free and some stages; the music however had a cost (Which you can find for free online). Capcom however had to charge for EVERYTHING including extra characters that was on some special edition that not many people even used.
I prefer 6 and 8, not 10.
Kotaku is at it again...
@Gribble
I can see where your coming from, and I wouldn't doubt an open game like Fallout or Elder Scrolls couldn't run without a lot of the data pre-installed; however a game like Uncharted where it's more linear could work in theory with downloading in sections.

I do like the idea every ps4 game can be demo'd in a sense before purchasing, which that alone further confirmed which side I'm joining when it's releas...
Author forgot these:
Xenogears
Lunar Silver Star Story/Eternal Blue
Valkryie (sp) Profile
Star Ocean Second Story
I'm burned out of Borderlands 2 for now, I'm debating to sell it or keep it for someone who buys it at discount and needs help with some missions.

Sorry Gearbox, your a little too late to keep adding to the game, in some ways I preferred 1 over 2. Maybe (if) 3 is announced I "might" be interested, but until then Borderlands 2 is put on the shelf.
"The great thing about these days were that gaming was literally all about fun. I would go over to my friends house every day, and we'd sit down and play all these games together. It didn't matter if it was a one player game, or a multiplayer game, we could sit there and watch them play for hours, exploring every crack of the game looking for secrets, sharing our idea's with one another. When we were told to "go outside and play", we would take our Gameboys and b...
The only reason I would get a new Xbox if they announce Killer Instinct 3, outside that I'll pass.
I'll take one of those, and use it to sit my PS4 controllers on while they're charging. Seriously that's a nice piece of nostalgia as a furniture item, and I would own one depending on price.
Within the next few months, we'll see countless articles about "how The Watch was bought for timed exclusivity" even though they already answered no; with at least 4-5 opinion articles about how they're lying and "paid" to say they weren't paid.
Only 600 hours? I spent more than that on Fallout 3, and climbing to that number in Skyrim (I spent 2000+ hours on FF11 back in the day).

Battlefield 3 wasn't bad, however at the time I had other games to play and never went back (I refuse to play/buy CoD), however with Battlefield 4 I'll try it out first.
Oh I remember those days; I beat the game twice BEFORE the trophy patch appeared (same with GTA 4). I'm glad the game was cleaned up a bit before Bethesda moved on to other projects.
Good, now I can hibernate when the next Fallout comes out and not get bombed with "invite to -game-" and "come to home to say hi to people you don't care about."

I figured as much, that would be a stupid move to make it online 24/7. I wonder if they will do like the PSP, have firmware updates with certain games for those who have limited internet speeds or still waiting to get internet.
A big reason why I left Live was all the inappropriate behavior since everyone has a mic bundled, at the same time with PSN still being free I can't complain too much. I just hope there's a report option for abuse, and before people start arguing "mute" yes it does work, however it can only go so far.
My voucher came around midnight CST, so I basically bought a DLC last week for free :D.
Something's about to happen to give away even $10, and I've been around PSN since 2007 with 0 bans or warnings.
The people I've talked to about piracy don't pirate just to dodge paying for games, they download because what they play have no demo to test their hardware, as well as if it's a game they want to purchase. It was also argued videos can only go so far before people actually want to test the games for themselves, same with magazine advertisements. I've known people who mentioned borrowing/renting however again it goes back to what's available.

I know right, I remember spending more time playing the card game than 8 itself; if SE ever decided to even make it a mobile game I'd purchase it.
The card game in 8 was about as addicting as the game itself; and I liked 8 on the same ranks of 6 (I was 17 back then). Now, I'd probably just do the card game and maybe speedrun through a few bosses, but that's about it.
"I know lots of ppl that trade in their old games so they can buy new release games"
I as well as about 90% of other gamers do the exact same thing, and I shake my head at people who have a big collection of games but complain about being "broke" to purchase new games when they can trade in what they don't want anymore (outside keeping certain ones for obvious reasons). I guarantee that's one argument that will help in favor of used games.
"But to claim that GoldenEye 007 is the better game requires leaps of logic based on premises not found in the world of Reality." (From the article)
I agree Galactic, too many try to pass opinions off as facts; and just because a game has a soundtrack that's remixed more than another game personally doesn't really mean much to me - if anything it means a lot of people don't like the original score and would rather have something better.
