Square Enix - HELL NO!
Square lost itself during the early 2000s when Wada was CEO; and they have a lot of ground to recoup to have me back as a customer. The whole bit with 14 is commendable because yes SE could have easily threw the game away and continued with 11 (which imo 11 is still a better game than 14) but instead took a gamble and it paid off in the end.

Owning both systems, I give my vote to the Sega Genesis.
Outside a couple of games, everyone would play the Sega versions over the SNES, and since I was one of the only kids to own both, we were able to see differences between the games. The SNES looked and maybe sounded better, the Sega versions played better.
I remember owning Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Special Championship Edition) on Sega, and more hours was dumped into that game over the SNES version...

I'll purchase an Xbox when there's games I can play ONLY on Xbox that I can't play anywhere else. Not this "play anywhere" BS, but actual exclusives.
Currently the only game sparking my interest on Xbox is Cuphead, and that's on Steam and now Nintendo.

He made a generic game when the market was already over saturated with the same type of game already. If you're going to make a "me too" type of game, at least bring something different to the table where the game is its own identity.

I just watched a video on this, and I'd try it. Being able to see the enemies AND real time combat is what I'm looking for.

This list could have been far better had ign(orant) did a launch per console instead of all time. At least per console would prove each console had their own game(s) that made it stand out from the competition.
