I was watching the conference with a friend, and we clocked roughly 51 minutes of filler with 9 minutes of actual "game" talk/footage. Microsoft will have to do a lot to re-instate confidence in gamers to keep them through next gen, otherwise a lot of people will jump to the competition.
With the way the crowd was responding you can tell the conference wasn't up to expectation; a few claps however nothing like the crowd during the PS4 reveal.
I was the opposite, I preferred to stay inside and get to the next stage (or beat a game); I rarely wanted to go out because the area I lived there wasn't many kids my age that didn't stay out of trouble.

DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) is a very good exercise game, and I'm an adult who still plays it.
Why would someone disagree with that? Outside 4 I don't see a reason someone would just hate on that idea.

A lot of people like myself can relate to this; you play a game and don't stop until you set a record. I want to do that with a few games I'm currently playing.
It's down to the ultimate question, which is more important; Customers OR money. Some could argue you need one for the other to exist however a move like this can only mean the future of Nintendo is starting to fade.
Eternal Champions was the Killer Instinct of the early 90's for Sega, I hope someone picks up the license and at least cleans up the Sega CD version to be playable for todays' consoles. As far as Night Trap I'd re-release it just to show what was considered "Taboo" back in the early 90's as opposed to today.
I vote more arkfall codes and more rewards; also some sort of timed questions regarding the show would also be nice. Example: You have 1 hour to answer this question - Who did *character* kill tonite? Answer correctly for *item.* I'm hoping they already have something like that planned.

I've gotten to the point that anything Kotaku says, I don't read the article. I have yet to read an article from Kotaku that wasn't some sort of flame bait, or trolling attempt - and I've discovered them back in 2006. There isn't anything Kotaku posted that another site hasn't published yet; and most of the time their twist is added just for those extra hits.

I know Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3 had mod support however there wasn't much towards it; however 3D Dot Game Heroes had dedicated sites and forums of created characters (some exist today), and some custom characters even made it to a patch that was released sometime in 2011.

I remember spending countless quarters on Street Fighter 2 just to beat Bison; or when Killer Instinct was first brought to the arcades and we didn't think fighting games could get any better; or when Tekken 3 was proof that Namco could make a near flawless fighter; or when Gran Turismo was the first simulator for PlayStation and you actually learned to drive correctly; the list can go on forever.
