I "was" hyped for a new Killer Instinct, however after seeing this I'll pass; not because it's exclusive, but because it looks like Street Fighter 4 with faster gameplay and prettier graphics.
Killer Instinct (at the time) was one fighting game I felt was a hybrid between Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Tekken however was a fighting game I felt was more "Realistic" and I did stick with the series even though there's a couple I don't like (4 and 5, 6 is ok at best). What I really wanted was an HD Eternal Champions however I hope someday we see that series again.
To answer your question though, "if" and I mean a big IF MS was to keep...
For those who read the article; the ONE game 99% of us asked for is printed on the Xbox side (I'll let you guess what it is, here's a hint, it's a 90's arcade fighter that used to be on Ninendo).
For those who didn't read the article; "lol Bethesda sold their soul to MS and its exclusive to Xbox." Followed by a ton of conspiracy theories which requires changing your tinfoil hat frequently.
I hope the majority of those games do ...
More like "never go full retard." (referring to Arietos)
This is one of those moments "Be careful what you wish for" comes into play 100%.
"If you rent games, XBOX one is not for you.
If you trade games with your friends , XBOX one is not for you.
If you don't have a good connection, XBOX one is not for you.
And if you don't want to support these kind of policies and restrictions because you love games and you know the impact that this will have to the future of gaming, then XBOX one is definitely not for you" (From the article)
I agree 100%, there's a lot of other g...
I remember being stuck in the Technodrome with the space guys; what I did was save the throwing katanas for them (even used a few on Shredder which made the fight easy). I do agree though, TMNT was a pain in the ass, and to this day I still shudder at the thought of ever playing that game again. I'd give credit to Bionic Commando as my all time hardest game, first game that made my eyes water it was that hard.
Thank you, someone who mentioned Bionic Commando (Top Secret: Hitlers Revival in Japan) before I could. There's a few other games to add:
Ninja Gaiden (NES)
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Mario Lost Levels (NES)
TMNT (NES)
I want an option in Co-op where your friends can't harm NPC's, the most interaction is limited buy/sell/trading; or at least separate co op from single player modes. I can already tell there would be some troll friends finding it funny to kill certain NPCs for main/side quests.
Edit: I'd also like to add "if" there is a co op option make it open region with other players; I'm sick of friends overseas play the same games I do however due to region l...
I remember when TMNT was hard as hell (and beat it), then I tried Battletoads, outside the 3rd level the game was fun. At my Elementary School I was one of the few who could beat that stage then complete the game. Then I tried Mike Tysons Punch Out; took till Middle School before I could TKO in the first round (took a ton of dedication and sleepless nights).
Never got to play ET though, saw the movie as a kid though.
I'd die laughing if they found this
“I can confirm that we will have TV’s (or similar) on stage to show the games,” said Microsoft’s Larry Hryb today when quizzed about the press conference content.
“That should be the extent of TV talk.” (From the article)
So about an hour of why you should bend over to the "always online" followed by 30 minutes of why you should get "Live Gold." /s
I'll watch it however I'm calling right now out of those 15 games ...
I'm waiting on vs13/15, if that game is garbage then I'm done with Square Enix until the new CEO starts some projects the fans at least asked for, and that's actually good.
Could you imagine the older Square(Soft) titles if they were released today? How much DLC they could add to make extra money? Chrono Trigger, FF2-10, Xenogears, Bushido Blade, Einhander, Erhiegz (sp), Chrono Cross, etc come to mind.
Now that Wada is officially stepping down and the original CEO of Taito is taking over my confidence will come back "if" he decides to at least allow freedom, and not always allow Microsoft to flex their checkbook.
The Japanese buys electronics that are guaranteed to last, and that actually have some value in them. I actually talk to a few who actively live in Japan (2 of them native born) and they don't always "flock" to what the media says is good, or whatever is hyped to death. I asked one friend if he was getting a 360 and he asked me what that was, and he lives outside Tokyo (suburb).
You should stay off wikipedia sometimes and actually talk to some people in thes...
I just put towards a preorder today for it; I'm trusting ND to deliver like they did with UC2 (not a big fan of 3 but I did like 2).
"Dan: While I am not exactly a fanboy, (I am an idiot, though)..." (From the article)
That statement alone is about 90% of the people on N4G.
Seriously though the article tries so hard to spin Sonys take on the "always online" that MS requires every 24 hours; spin all you want, truth is what Sony stated was right - not everyone has internet, and some not as fast as others. What part of that do you not understand? It's not about argui...
I had the same mentality for Killer Instinct 3, however after extensive thinking I don't see the justification of a console for 1 game (Even at the start); I'd rather wait and see what other games that console releases just incase.
@-Mika-
Never go full retard
OT
This just helps further confirms what console I'll be buying at midnight; games first and everything else second.
What I hated the most, instead of spending a few min to clear up some of the negative press, they'd rather "Sweep it under the rug" with all these games, starting with MGS 5 to help "curb" some of the negative energy so people leave with a somewhat positive note. Killer Instinct in my opinion died when it left Nintendo; with the new game I am NOT impressed with it.
The other games looked decent at best, I'm still waiting to see what Sony does wi...
