That would be better.

@ Captain Tuttle
I don't dispute anything you just stated.
I also don't ignore people because its really funny to see reactions of people that take it so seriously.

And yes, Bill Gates is a very funny SOB.
I just like to stoke the flames from time to time.

I was just curious.
I really haven't bought into either format other than some blu-ray movies I play on my PS3 when I'm not playing games.

It is nice to know that I will be able to get into HD-DVD so cheap should Blu-ray fail but I'm not so sure Blu-ray will fail. Its still up in the air but I don't think Blu-ray is playing catchup at all. Well as far as HD movie sales go anyway.

I will be buying the $399 40 GB PS3 soon as a dedicated Blu-ray player (and...

Why do you even care?
Did you buy an HD-DVD add on for the 360?

Looks a little better if you go to the source.

Boiled down to 1 thing?
And then you state 3?

Haha!

I hope you meant boiled down to 1 of 3 things.

By the way, why would I or anyone else want to ignore this kinda comedy.

Its a rumor still.

Could be more to it.

Movies are better than games to people that don't play video games.
There are way, way more people that buy and rent movies than games so in a way he is right.

At $15 to $30 a pop for a movie and $60 for a new game its no wonder.

Anyway, to believe what you just said you would have to have an IQ of 70.

True.
Somehow he does just that.

@ Jdash24
SonySoldiers is a x-box fanboy.

On topic.
I hate to say it but this will be decided in early 2008 (March) when GTA4 comes out.

I really believe thats the game that will make or break the PS3.

At this point in time I would say its in the PS3's favor even though MS has paid huge money for exclusive content. That MS buy-out will have little to no effect when its all said and done.

Even though this is a multi pla...

Its you. Not u.
The use of 'u' over 'you' makes you look ignorant.

Edit:
2 u 2 people disagreeing with me how does this not make u look ignorant?
u have 2 see how it makes u look don't u?

Skerj
Haha! I guess so.
Maybe they don't know what the word ignorant means.
That would be kinda ironic if that were the case. lol

Haha! Up to 4 disagrees! Now thats funny!

Wow, WilliamRLBaker, are you really that obtuse?
OK you state:
""Internet=really its free? Wow...I don't have to pay money for the net? wow...WHO THE HELL HAVE I BEEN SENDING 30-50$ A MONTH TOO FOR THE PAST 10 OR SO YEARS?!""

Haha! The Internet is free, what you pay for is the ability to have it faster. lol! Wow!

I have HD local at no cost other than the $15 I spent on the HD antenna.
I pay nothing more! By the way I get ...

Local TV is free. You know why? Advertisements pay for it.
Local radio is free. You know why? Advertisements pay for it.
The internet is free. You know why? Advertisements pay for it.
It has been proven time and time again that it works and people don't mind.
Sony is going down the same road.

I'm not sure how many of you were around when cable TV first came out but I remember they marketed it at first as advertisement free because of monthly fe...

Read it again and slowly this time.

This from the article:
"Yesterday, Sony’s Chief Exec Sir Howard Stringer was talking up the future of the PlayStation Network, outlining its plans for a glorious future crossing over from the PS3 and PSP consoles on to TVs “and beyond” offering music, movies and TV show downloads."

Everything stated after that is the opinion of the guy writing the article and not something stated by Stringer.
