Both Blu-ray and HD-DVD players play existing, standard DVD's.
The only thing you would be buying is new movies in HD.

Motorstorm is a great game and a lot of fun but you are 100% correct about it getting out of hand. $60.00 for a game that isn't finished, only to have to download, at a cost, what should have been in the game in the first place.

They should charge GameTrailers, and all the other sites, who would then, in turn, charge us the viewer (and buyer) to watch the "advertisements" that they would love for us to watch (and pay to watch) so they have a better chance of selling their games to us.

Yes, well I see that. The fact is I want a 360 for the exclusives it has. I just don't want to spend that much at the moment.
With all the games coming out for the PS3, its hard to justify it at that price. Plus I still don't know if the hardware problems are taken care of with the 360. I have never seen proof one way or the other.
