Only one thing worries me. With the Oculus support confirmed. Will playing Alien Isolation in VR be too scary?

Anything above 30 is fine by me, and yes the original ran at 30.

my sony bravia w905 can handle true 240fps, but what's the point. past 70fps it is impossible to notice any difference...

60fps is more than enough for a smooth motion in game. But for some nothing seems to be enough. Give them 60, and they demand 120. Give them 120 and they demand 240. Ridiculus IMHO

But stereoscopic 3d would be awsome. with 60fps that would give 30fps per eye. and with them pushing past 60fps, locking at 60 should be no problem.

One of my absolutly most antisipated games this year. For everybody that thinks this game will be boring. Watch the very first Alien movie on Bluray, with surround sound in a totally dark room, and then imagine that as a game. That is what Alien Isolation is all about. Day One for me. I've been waiting for this game for a VERY long time.

Pc version also gets Oculus rift support. Will Ps4 get morpheus support? That would be awsome.

Finally a multiplayer game where verbal communication is vital. Sick and tired of silent gamers in the likes of Battlefield and COD. Amazing demo. Day one for sure.

Here is a way Sony can win E3: Show up and have a kick-ass show.

My expected essential ps4 E3 list: Uncharted, God of war 4, Gran Turismo, quantum dreams new ps4 title, the getaway (sony london is doing a AAA thirdperson game...), project beast, wipeout, guerilla games rpg, the last guardian, kill strain, the order 1886, driveclub and gta5. Plus I expect a ton of surprises. Sony apperantly have 100 booths at this years E3, and that is a lot...

I do not know what the PS4 is truely capable of. But it stands to reason that if a developer uses optimised assembly code instead of Directx(general API for lots of different hardware), then the graphical results should be rather interesting. I guess we will know june 9th, when Naughty Dog unveils Uncharted PS4.

I have personally seen what can be achieved with low level assembly code, and I for one is psyched...

Time is always against developers. The more cod...

I agree with Naughty dogs lead programmer. It makes perfect sense. Custom Binary code (low level code) written spesifically for only one type of hardware (ps4) will allways outperform general code written for many types of hardware. But there is a catch. Binary code takes a lot longer to write. Trust me, I have seen binary code. Even the simplest things takes long time to write in binary code. This have been demonstrated to me. So yeah, correctly and optimally written low level binary code gi...

I do not understand why PC and Console fanboys continue to argue. They obviously don't understand that PC gamers and Console gamers are looking for different things, besides good games obviously. PC gamers are often looking for the best graphics/performance/control and don't mind playing at a desk in their den. Console gamers primarily want convenience. Sure they like good graphics like everybody else, but surely convenience and a often more sosial experience is more important. If gra...

My take on this: Yes the PC version is the best looking, given that you have some serious hardware inside. especially if you plan on gaming in 4k resolution. And that's allways the catch22 for PC gamers. Allways having the best hardware is very expensive. Also it might take quite a while to get the settings right so that the games runs properly.

While the PS4 version might not be as pretty as the PC version. It is most definitly good enough for most people.

haven't notised any pop-in on the ps4 version. Then again I do not use the standard harddrive. I use the WD black edition 500GB.

Biggest problem with the ps4 version I have, is the ingame brighness. Every Id software game I have ever owned never got this thing right. Whereas everyone else has some kind of picture to help you set the ingame brighness, Id Software games does not. Instead you have to guesstimate until you think it looks right. Why can't sony have this done right as a function in the Ps4 OS. That way gamescreators could get the right brighness level for their game from this PS4 OS function; should Sony...
