I'm sorry, I loved my wii, and it had terrific first party and even some third party games (MadWorld and NMH) but after the huge year of 2010 (Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, NMH 2, etc.) the wii was left for dead in 2011 (especially in North America).
The best Nintendo can do is support the Wii until next summer and release the Wii U. Xenoblade in April, Mario party 9 are the only big hitters in 2012. Hopefully ...

Even as a Nintendo guy I gotta admit Sony has had so many exclusives last year and are gnna have way more than Xbox and wii this year. Seriously PS3 probably has no competition when it comes to exlcusives this year except maybe the Wii U (if it launches with any exclusives)
Sony has had so many exclusives this year that I bought myself a new 160Gb slim PS3 ($199 after trading in 3 used games hehe) and I'm loving it.
That's classic Nintendo. Don't reveal any info until they want to. It is rare to get leaks from them. The only reason project café was revealed early was because Nintendo is reaching out to many third parties this time instead of keeping everything to themselves. They like to surprise people and don't reveal anything until they are ready. That's why the hardware isn't final yet, that's why specs haven't been released yet. All will be revealed on June 7th, 2012...
I find it hilarious how Sony and Microsoft fanboys always claim they "don't give a shit about Nintendo and their gimmicky kid games" and yet they are overreacting to an interview where Nintendo's president says they don't care what their competitors do lol. I didn't pick the website name. It's a gaming blog about all consoles and handhelds. Did you read the article? I put a lot of effort and thought into it and I'm not hating on Sony. I love their products. But Sony doesn't have the money to launch a new console right now, it would damage their profits of the PS3. That's what the article talks about.
I admit I did not enjoy skyloft as an overworld. Little tiny floating islands with not much to do was Boring. The skyloft characters didn't interest me. I did enjoy it more than the empty hyrule field of twilight princess, but twilight princess had a darker tone. So I would have to say it is my 2nd least 3D Zelda (but still awesome)

Sadly I played old games for my wii this year. The only new one I bought was skyward sword and Kirby's return to dreamland. But xenoblade and the other 2 games could see releases before the Wii U so that should be good
Yeah there is nothing else naughty dog can do to improve uncharted on the ps3. They have pushed the hardware to its limits, the story in UC3 started to show writer fatigue. Don't milk it. Uncharted 4 on the PS4 for launch would do much better.

Agreed. If it bombs, they will take all their development staff and work on versus XIII. Then they will all work hard in using that photorealistic engine they developed and use it for Final Fantasy XV for next-gen consoles.

Microsoft lost billions on the Xbox and 360 and finally is starting to recuperate costs, but they make tons of money off of their software So they are safe.
Nintendo printed their own cash with wii and DS. Now the 3DS is selling hot too. Software also sells well.. They are fine.
