Keep third parties away from Nintendo franchises. Other M was a disaster. The only good crossover with a thirdparty was Square and Nintendo in Super Mario RPG.

I think RAM has to do more with the multitasking features you mention (crossgame chat, movie streaming, Kinect, etc.
My quadcore i7 barely gets worked even when running games on max settings (Crysis 1 & 2). The CPU doesn't need high clock speed, it needs more cores.
RAM is important and is possibly the only thing holding back this generation (see Skyrim, PS3's lack of crossgame chat).

As a Nintendo gamer I can agree with the poster. Mario is being whored out by Nintendo. I love the platformers, but all these spin offs are tarnishing his good name. Other than Mario kart and Mario tennis, I don't care about Mario and sonic games, Mario golf, basketball (insert any sport here) and Mario party hasn't been good since the N64.

The list already fails at the processor. It was confirmed by IBM the CPU is a Power7, not a PowerPC. Clock speeds are not official yet. We don't even know how much L3 cache this thing will have (eDRAM for all you other people).
Glad to see Nintendo uNderstands that some of their franchises require awesome graphics like Metroid and Zelda.
Games like Mario and Pikmin don't need the high end graphics, they just need to be good enough to enjoy the gameplay.
