Youre saying the dunia engine doesnt hold a candle to frostbite 3? Because I call shenanigans on that lol yes FB may be better with more potential, but I dont think a single FB3 game so far looks near as good as far cry 3. So saying it cant hold a candle is a massive overstatement

I agree with your orange box comment, its actually what I said above...you get halo 2, a halo 5 beta and access to the halo digital movie...vs hl2/ep.1/ep.2/portal and team fortress. Not even close imo

I honestly read it as caused by the architectural changes required to unify the whole system...aka if they had 8gb gddr5, but it was split into dedicated 3 for o.s. and 5 for games...its still the same type of ram but its not having to use the multiple types of patterns on the same pool...thats just what I read into it
Fair point to a certain extent, but I still don't understand how it can be confused with the Wii...all the accessories/games etc with "Wii" in the name all say exactly what they are, in the name, as dark-kyon proved below. Wii U is the only one that you can't tell what it does by the name. Wii U doesn't do that. Maybe I'm just having a hard time relating to that mentality, as I can't possibly imagine mixing those two up lol

When I raided on WoW, I used modifiers (shift/ctrl/alt) to change the action bar in use...really not necessary to hit 25 totally separate keys, when you can do 1-5/Q/E, then SHIFT+1-5/Q/E, etc.
Exactly this. I don't care how much "better" ESDF is, I have been using WASD for better than a decade...can't teach an old dog new tricks. It doesn't really feel all that weird to shift my fingers over half an inch to then be on the home row. Not to mention what kind of ridiculous mutant tiny hands does the author have? I can easily hit 25 keys in the WASD position. He really can't hit the 1 or 2 keys? Or Z?
I really dont like the x1 controller tbh...the triggers and thumbsticks dont have enough resistance, too easy to push/pull too far. The haptic feedback is nice for some peoplim sure, but the triggers almost never vibrate by themselves, theyre vibrating when the entire controller is vibrating, which means the triggers tiny little motors are totally overshadowed by the primary motors. The DS4 honestly is the best controller design ever. The triggers are perfect, thumbsticks are nice and tigh...

I don't have a tablet, so my phone is it :/ I'm in the same boat, my vita gets used for remote play, never 2nd screen. And just to let you know, Wolfenstein actually doesn't have a smartglass feature :( pretty disappointing. The game is still a lot of fun though, it definitely has an old school feel to it and I like that. It's been too long since I was able to kill some nazis :)

It's hardly night and day because likely a lot of time and the systems resource budget were spent on the character models, so the rest of the textures/lighting will likely suck. The new gen will maintain the same level of fidelity throughout. A couple close up screenshots of his face aren't really representative of the whole game.

Yes I did know that...however I prefer the vita over my phone as a second screen device. And since most ps4 games only use vita for remote play, I would have preferred to get one of the few games that supports it on ps4 so I can actually use it. And im well aware of the functionality of the second screen features for dead rising...however they dont put a big sprite of B.Js head from the original wolfenstein huge in the center of the screen. Its the small touches that really make the game s...

Gta wasn't having most of manpower focused on the 2 extra systems we have now. The 2 versions that are most highly anticipated, with the most repercussions if they fail. So less manpower for the last gen.

Not that much better? Ps3 had (roughly) a 7800 gt series gpu...ps4 has roughly 660 ti series. Not taking into account the massive cpu difference, the difference of 6 generations and multiple architecture changes is way more than "not that much better". Honestly imo it never gets boring...I put 40-50 hours in v2 and I had the animation frequency turned all the way up (idr if you can turn them off totally, but you can adjust frequency) every single time I would watch the bullets fly, never got old. The sheer diversity of the animations is wjat made it...watching bones shatter, the slugs disintegrate, dick shots, heart/lung shots, head shots all with separate x ray animations kept it fun trying to hit different critical areas
