Just pointing out, a remake does imply changes. And just on the off chance that im wrong about the general definition, in this particular case it DEFINITELY implies changes as SE has stated its gonna change, do a google search...i dont disagree the visuals are bad, but the gameplay itself needs no adjustment imo, as i stated before.

Honestly, i dont know a single person that requested a "remake"...we all wanted a remaster...update the visuals, maybe fix some bugs but dont dick with the core game. As soon as i found it was gonna be a remake and they were going to change things i lost interest. According to the article both drives run at the same temp, so that actually isnt the issue...the issue is the interface. A 3.5 7.2k drive should smoke a 2.5 5.4k drive, yet its interface is bottlenecking. With load times already so long increasing them by 10-20% is terrible. What they didnt test was reload times...how long does it add when you die andreload? The extra storage is nice but they should have done better
I'm upgrading because of it lol...my 670 has been a workhorse for around 3 years now, time to move on up I think. Got a mix of med/high settings and locked at 30 fps, and its struggle-bussin with those settings in heavy situations. I saw my friends 980 playing it maxed (w/o hairworks) locked at 60fps and I knew I couldn't live with the 670 anymore

Nvidia has licensing, just like every other company So im not sure how you took away theyre "throwing their weight around"...they licensed the tech and then help the licensee develop to said tech...they dont help optimize for AMD hardware for obvious reasons...to my knowledge AMD didnt optimize tressfx for Nvidia gpus, so why are we mad at nvidia for doing the same? have you ever fought the dark aeons? Tried to get the armor to beat penance? Played end game at all? Broken RNG makes that pointless...it takes a great many hours of grindong and a LOT of item drops. If you can farm and reset countless times without any variation then thats not RNG at all. In an rpg such as this one, broken rng is unacceptable, and his score makes sense to me. I would not call it clickbait
@thunderbird The only way that comparison could pssibly apply is if I worked for free for the last 20 years, never expecting anything, then my boss comes up and say "Hey, you can start charging for your work but youll only get 25%." Also, modding is a hobby thats pretty much always been done for free. Working for a living? Not so much. Apples and Oranges
@SilentNegotiator 1080p has been the primary viewing standard that pretty much all mainstream viewable media has been going for for ~3-5 years...60 fps has ALWAYS been the goal for gaming, at least since I started in 2001...just because not everyone has it doesn't mean its not the expected level of quality.

Thats because likely by the time every game is 1080p60, 4k will be/have been the standard, just as 1008p60 has been the standard for a long while now. And a majority of PC gamers aren't complaining about any consoles resolution, because they're able to play games at their preferred resolution, so why would they complain? The primary groups complaining about anything are the respective fanboys of each console.
@Marked - I am fairly certain the OP was referencing the Titan X for 4K resolutions, not speaking of the original Titan...The original Titan is 2 years old and outperformed by a majority of mid-high range GPUs these days so it wouldnt make sense that they were referencing that.
First of all I agree that remastering any CoD game is ludicrous...but I must question why you say it must come to ps3/360? One of the primary reasons to remaster is to take advantage of new tech and do things that weren't previously possible...claiming that a remaster would HAVE to be launched on the same consoles as the original game is just as ludicrous as the thought of remastering CoD in the first place.
@thekhurg Yes but when you were a kid, the consoles drew effectively no power and generated no heat, and had no moving parts in comparison to today. Also, to dinner can also imply going out to a restaurant or something along those lines, where leaving a game sitting paused isn't optimal. Not to mention the dozens of other situations that suspend will be useful for (going to bed, going to work, grocery shopping etc).
Why do you need to password protect chat sessions when you can make them invite only? And it's been a while, but I faintly remember being able to kick people out of chat, it's been a while though. @marcelliuss1 You can most definitely save games, it just saves them on the Host PS4. Cant unlock trophies? Hardly a concern for me when I want to play a game. Shareplay can also be used for multiplayer play. The host doesnt have to sit and watch, i can think of half dozen scenarios right now where I would be fine with sharing and walking away.

You're right, summoner didnt flash colours and have pop in...because things didn't pop in. In the bigger maps you could actually watch the game draw ALL the objects as you ran/rotated the camera. Also, the distant background was typically a 2d picture that gave that mirrored the 3d foreground to give the illusion of distant lod and distract from the textures being drawn in.
