Might wanna read the article.
Doesn't even talk about their own game in the context of the quote.
@Goldby
Older games can have longer wait times in lobbies due to a smaller userbase, so combining the communities across platforms not only means it's easier to play, but also knits the community closer together.
Benefits everyone in the end.
Your asking why MS owns the online servers to a game they own? Is this a genuine question?
Also what about Rocket League? Pretty sure that's neutral but they're just waiting for Sony to say yes.
Maybe for the same reason people people buy watered down versions, with lower frame rate, lower resolution, and/or inferior graphics on the PS4 or XB1 rather than get the PC version?
For the most part it just comes down to the individuals platform of preference. If I get Sonic Forces it'll be for the NS because it's a game I'd rather play on my breaks at work or in bed.
Its certainly dissapointing that it won't be hitting 60fps but its an ...
Not PC?
It would be stupid from a business perspective to just abandon the 3DS. The problem for me though is why some of these 3DS games cant release on the Switch as well.
Um ok?
I'll mostly be playing in handheld mode so 720p is not a huge concern to me.
I wouldn't be surprised if at launch its been bumped up to 1080p tho.
Yeh they wouldnt just make all those Models just to use them in MK8 DLC.
Really hoping we get Animal Crossing next year!!!
@Masterfox
Yeh, you really didn't read it. Also yes there's a difference between the violence in a Mario game and a God of War game. Which is why the author of this piece uses the term "ultra-violent" to distinguish between the two.
" also there are dozens of games outthere that aren't bloody looking, Crash Bandicoot trilogy, Yoka Laile , Little Big Planet, Unravel, Journey, Abzu, Broken Age, Hohokum, Resogun, etc."
Didn't read the article did you?
To be fair the recent Lucky's tale was not very good so it does have to prove itself
This was probably my favourite game of the MS E3 conference so I hope its good.
I think its the religious connotation with possession that's made them clarify this.
Nintendo has been know to try and avoid this sort of thing.
The irony of people here o this site.
Pre-release:
"Yeh it'll sell out at first but then it'll flop like the Wii U. The system is DOA"
4 months later"
"Nintendo cant meet the consumer demand that even I didn't predict??? Wow Nintendo is a joke'
If only people could be self aware of what they are actually posting.
I'm not a DBZ fan but I'd certainly pick the game up on Switch to see if it could get me interested in the anime.
I'm sure it will be a worthwhile game to play on the go as well!
Not that games cant include political/moral messages but we dont need every game to come and try to teach us some sort of life lesson.
Im happy Nintendo is taking this approach.
Afraid I'll be missing out on it or buying pre-owned.
Not putting money into that company with the stuff they've been doing.
"The icing on the cake is when the cameras cut to Davide Soliani, the creative director of the game. His passion for the game was clear when he started tearing up during the announcement. It obviously meant a lot to him."
That was a key moment of this E3 IMO. Seeing developers who really care about what they're creating.
It's not easy being given the task to make a Mario Rabbids crossover and being told to make a game, unlike anything th...
@BlackTar187
To be fair Overwatch is more of a PC game.
"No new Zelda or Mario for a long time."
Assuming that's true so what? Right now their 2018 lineup consists of Kirby, Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime 4 and a mainline Pokemon game confirmed so far. A Mario/Zelda game doesn't have to release for the year to be good on a Nintendo System.
I'm sure that there's more on the way too!
