@WeebLord
The game tells me my choices matter and will affect ending, then proceeds to give me the choice of two endings that will occur not matter what choices I made.... Yup, I should just ignore that big lie at the beginning.
There are more faults with the game but my intent was not to spoil with my opinion on the story.
Dunno if its really that good. Lets just say that in the opening they say that your choices will affect the outcome of the game and it then gives you two choices no matter what you do when you get to the end.
Are all those really risks though?
Can we really call shooters and narrative driven games risks anymore? Shooters are only risks in the sense that you're releasing a genre that's in an oversaturated market. Also Telltale and Quantic Dream has made narrative driven games their staple genre and basically live off making them.
I wouldn't really call these risks.
@EDMIX
"It doesn't have the same games, thus it's not in the same "market"
That's not quite how it works. There's been a big growth in PC gaming where people who were once console users migrated to PC. But by your logic, these platforms would not be in the same market.
The same happened in Japan with Handheld systems. They just seem to cater more to what Japan wants when compared to home consoles. If a mig...
It's great that JP studios have started branching out to PC.
More people can support them and help improve their products through better funding.
@EddieNX
Probably worth holding onto it until after E3. If MS shows nothing there that interests you then yeh no point having one.
"i don't buy and play games that are also on the switch."
Why? If it's because the system is weaker and games that are running on it are less demanding visually then your a fool. Imagine someone said they were skipping Persona 5 because it can run on a PS3. Deliberately denying yourself good games.
"nintendo itself states that they are not in competition"
Nintendo says a lot of dumb shit. They call the Switch...
@MVGeneral
"I'm actually on mobile"
So your arguing on your phone about something other people like instead of socialising while you're out? Man you sure showed me buddy.
Also keep using "Nintendards" because it's a nice little indicator of your maturity level when it's all you can call people.
That would be really cool! Alan Wake was a great game.
I would disagree. You can make any story work if you allow it the wriggle room that Heavy Rain gets with it's plot holes. No spoilers but all I have to say is Typewriter shop...
Until Dawn on the other hand I really like. I like those clutch choices you have to make when trying to escape in a chase and the story holds up better under scrutiny than David Cages.
In the free for all mode it's best to use the Joycon grip/Pro controller.
Moving the right analog left or right changes who your targeting so it makes easier to engage multiple fighters.
@MVGeneral
*throughout the day. I will be socializing with people. Talking to family members and my girlfriend on the internet*
FTFY
In all seriousness dude your on the Internet arguing about virtual worlds. Don't act like your better than anyone else here.
Because that's where the market for Monster Hunter is.
According to Vgchartz the game barely makes it to 1 mil in the west but can sell about 3 mil in Japan alone. The PS4 sits at around 4.5 mil sales in Japan right now and wouldn't guarantee you the user base the 3ds has. It would be a big risk to rely on the west to make up for those lost sales in Japan
it's probably a lot cheaper to make it for the 3DS which is another incentive to keep it ...
Watch people to call it a failure after 2 seconds of really dodgy looking gameplay.
Looks very cool!
It's a shame Hyper Light Drifter won't be coming to Switch any time soon :(
Probably just going to get ARMS.
I have a backlog of PC games to play and we've also got E3 to look forward to so i'll probably be more occupied with what gets shown there as well.
@IamTylerDurden1
"ARMS is a huge AAA. It's bigger than Injustice 2."
You've done it again dude. No one's claimed ARM's is AAA and you've brought up Injustice 2 for no reason.
You're just talking past me and not engaging with what I've said.
Disgaea 5 is not AAA.
No individual Mario game has the power to ruin the brand. It would require failure after failure in a row to even put a dent in Mario's reputation.
I decided to try it out on my PC since I'd never played the TLOU and unfortunately I had to stop. There is a quite a noticeable delay on controls and it's not an enjoyable experience.
I ran a check on my internet speed and I get between 16-18 mbps so I'm over the optimal amount. Until simple problems like this can be ironed out it's not really a service I'll use again.
