Funnily enough the system in last place often has the best quality games available like N64 did and PS3 does this gen. It makes them stronger to get a foothold in the market. Thats why it happens.

You realise even Bungie have pretty much admitted the franchise is milked? They said ODST was a quick cash grab before Reach. The combat evolved remake that came last year was to celebrate the series but even without the spin-offs and remakes its still a short amount of time.

I'm mixed about it not meeting their expectations. On one end it likely means there won't be anything else for the game beyond the DLC they offer now. On the other hand it will teach them a lesson and hopefully they will take more care and produce the better quality games they used to with all standard modes and features.
I don't pity them. They have made some big mistakes lately. Having Ninja Theory make a DMC like that is bound to make it fail. Their DLC tactics are getting out of hand and lets not even go there with re-releases.
I wouldn't be surprised if street fighter x tekken fails to meet their expectations. People surely won't fall for the super trick again?
Depends on how you look at it. The author seems to think the graphical leap will be as big as it was last gen but I doubt it will be. We are in a recession so Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony need to be careful how they approach this.
Note: Kaz just gave an indication that Sony won't be going for the high end technical products they have done in the past but will aim to be profitable. So that just leaves MS making a huge leap. If Nintendo and Sony aren't going to is there...

Actually I wouldn't agree with that. In the Western market it clashed with Pokemon releasing around then so it did have competition. Here in Europe Black and White came out literally 1 week before 3DS did. Given the type of sellers those are thats some serious competition. Its arguable that had Nintendo launched these on 3DS it would have done much better than it had.
I guess those lower 3 are support only then. Still 72 is a good number.
