Crysis' gameplay is awesome. How many other games out there let you pick up an enemy by the throat and chuck him through the wall of a house? Where else can you punch cars and trucks at enemies. How about drive a tank through a village of tin-roofed houses? Oh, yeah. Crysis.

When I'm playing Crysis, I play at 1680 x 1050 on DX10 very high for 30-60 FPS.
When I'm running around taking screenshots I use x16 AA and super-sampling (which means I run the game at a way higher res than my monitor supports, and it just squishes the game into a smaller area, making it look better because of the pixel density, etc)

COD is probably the easiest FPS games I've ever played.
I suck balls with a controller but I can still get to the top of the scoreboard when I play the console version at my friend's house.

COD has become a mediocre franchise over the last couple years. Activision are milking it for everything it's worth, and the bad thing is, is kids will buy this sh1t no matter what.
Quality and value has gone out the window for Activision. They churn a new COD game out every year and now they're charging $10 more for their mediocre game.

Valve's also got a number of projects currently in the works. They don't have the resources to experiment with PS3 development.
