Teasing a game without a platform is an automatic ignore from me; if you can't tell me if I'll be able to play it on what I have, I'm not interested.
Welcome to my life! haha. :)
Great review, Brad!
Could be a bunch of different things; internet connection quality, modem settings, ISP restrictions, not updating the game, a PSVita hardware issue...
Without knowing more I'm not sure, but most connection issues can be fixed with guides found on the internet - so there's things you can try before giving up.
Too bad this game didn't have more variety; looks like a bit of stylish mouse trap style fun.
I totally agree; Guerrilla Cambridge is setting the gold standard for "how to support a PSVita game".
Ouch, it sucks that the pack got split up but it's nice to see that they're maneuvering the launch so that we still get a game from them soon.
A full delay would've been harder to stomach.
Remote play is great and I use it all the time, but the quality of the steam (even in perfect conditions) is lacking. There are colour banding issues, "blocks" and other issues of compression that come into play - besides the fact you have to fork over for a $400 console and more expensive games (on average) to expand your library in limited situations.
Not everyone can afford a PSVita and a PS4, and they really shouldn't have to in order to play a fuller variet...
Posting lag? lol
Aww yeah; we're back, baby.
Tons of people waiting for this one.
As long as the reviewer is coming into the game fresh, treating it as a new game (or even forgot what the original is like for the most part), it's certainly possible to accurately review the game.
That said, if you're a FF enthusiast who just played FF10 again for the 30th time three weeks before the Vita version released you won't be able to give an accurate review.
Rose coloured glasses and all that.
Great review, Jon!
Yeah, they do look pretty bad. :/
Hopefully the game's content makes up for some graphical shortcomings.
You can't screenshot on Vita during remote play, it's disabled.
/Yawn/
I'm already bored of the "this is what game x looks like via Remote Play" posts, regardless of the game.
I don't get "hype" 'til I've actually played the game - no need to get worked up over some video or some screens, IMO.
Strange, this video was actually published elsewhere a while ago - it's not "new" at all.
The amount of misinformation that's spewed in the comments here is mind-boggling.
I'm sort of in the same boat, now I have ANOTHER game to add to my backlog... -.-
