It's more to the effect of Nintendo's only good games being first party, and even then they're few and far between. It's not worth buying their consoles to play less than a handful of really good games when I can have a much better experience elsewhere and across a wider (and frankly better quality) set of titles overall.
Nintendo should move to the software business like Sega did, it's pretty much their only chance to stay relevant.
I'd laugh if he got close and they upgraded the game map to be much larger.
I dropped mine down a set of four cement stairs and then it bounced and slid about fifteen feet on ice. Chipped a little silver paint off it (no protectors) and put a few little marks in my analogs (slid face down), but it works fine.
I bet he thinks stuffed bears are fragile too.
If we're speaking in terms of money made, now that you've bought those 30 games (whether you like them or not) they've already made their profit off you and your point is moot. You can bitch about needing AAA titles and indies sucking all you like, but regarding you as a consumer, they're in the black which is a sustainable business model.
It doesn't matter if they sell 1 unit or 100 million units, if they're netting a positive income off the consumer ...
I hope so, they need to either evolve or die.
Only if by "slow painful death" you mean "keep delivering awesome games I can't help but play" - I've barely put my Vita down since I got it Christmas 2012 and my backlog just grows and grows.
There may only be seven or eight million Vitas out there, but they're selling software for it like hotcakes. I've got around 50 Vita games and almost everyone I talk to who has one of these amazing portables has at least 10-15 games in their collectio...
Easily one of my favourite episodes so far. :)
Zero regret here, though I was a month late to the party (Christmas gift). I've got plenty to play to tide me over until the next few games I want hit and the monthly PS+ game freebies don't hurt either.
Viva la PS4.
Oh man, that was a good one - definitely worth a laugh. :)
Sounds like a defective PS3 to be honest; I know ND games tend to fill a Blu-Ray disc while a lot of others don't (whether it be one or two-layered). That said, it could be issues related to where the laser needs to move - being further for ND games than most others.
I'd love to know for sure though, sounds like a strange issue.
I must be from opposite world, my phone rarely graces my hands and my Vita might as well be glued to them. Oh well, more fun for me!
Actually read my comment, and then tell me where the second GPU is in the PSP and explain how 480 x 272 is a decent resolution.
Might want to know what you're talking about before you shoot my idea down ;)
Inefficient code will max out specs much easier than efficient, streamlined code. I've got no worries regarding the fact that it's only going to get better, no matter what the developers claim at this point.
Dear Nintendo;
Make a console that you can take with you (a-la the 3DS in size), however when you plug it into the TV a second GPU (a-la graphics switching on macbooks) takes over and upscales the games with anti-aliasing for the big screen. It wouldn't hurt to have a decent resolution screen on your handheld either, as it would reduce the ugliness of the upscaling.
Do this, and you shall stay alive and relevant in an age where you can't compete rega...
The original and Black Flag one are both great in their own respects, though I wouldn't even put them in the same category.
So I take it "feel good about the first half of '14" means "we know we suck at giving good deals, we'll do a little better so you don't bitch as much"?
I doubt Microsoft has the will or the means to do better than PlayStation Plus at this point, even their new operating systems suck and that's their flagship product.
Good news for those experiencing the issue, but personally I haven't had a single force close or issue with the title (knock on wood). Go Roll7!
Understand gamers? The guy plays Facebook games ffs, those aren't real games and anyone can predict the market with a reasonable amount of accuracy given enough data.
Pick someone else, someone less of a tool. I'd rather listen to a mental patient give me gaming advice than this guy.
Still wondering why this guy is relevant to anything; he's pretty much the industry equivalent of a back alley cold reader (phony psychic).
I wish someone would just shut him up already.
"Assumptions. The Slim model for the U.S. may come with the OLED screen, not the LCD version from Japan. "
Good luck with that, rarely do they release new versions in other areas with such discrepancies. It's a safe assumption based on trend.
"It matters to me. "
Oh? That's great, you represent the world I assume?
"Its safe to assume that the Vita Slim will be $199 or cheaper. The price will b...
