To play it at 1080p @ 60 fps on Ultra a 780ti should do the trick.

I agree. I've picked up the PC copy and had to wait it out for a Ubisoft patch, then I added 'theWorst 0.8' mod - let me say - who ever thinks this game isn't next gen is seriously missing out. Either that or it must truly suck on the consoles.
I just finished it today. Enjoyed it so much I'm playing it through a second time on Realism difficulty.

If you care so much about graphics get a PC and you'll relize the your supercomputer PS4 is just as guilty gimping games as X1. Take a look at how much Watchdogs was gimped to not make PS4 look like trash. Secret settings have been found and suddendly the 2012 E3 build reveals the bitter truth about dumbing down.
Yeah.. both these consoles are mighty underpowered. This gen should have been 1080/60fps no exceptions . The fanboy war should have at least been about games instead of which is closer to 1080p/60fps in every article... which neither ever are.

You don't get banned from Steam for using a VPN. Some people travel internationally for a living.. they aren't getting banned - technically there's no difference. There's no reason for Steam to ban such behavior.

I live in Japan and I've only encountered 2 of my 160 games to be region locked.. and that's at the point of sale in which a VPN allowed me to make the transaction. Its never region locked after.

And this is the thing. I'd rather have paid $600 for a console that could actually run games at 1080p/60fps than a budget box that's always struggling to even do half that. This is 2014, anything less is unextrodinary.
