As someone who's been fortunate enough to always own each console of every generation and a gaming PC. If you have a gaming PC right now, I can tell you there is little reason to rush out and buy an PS4 or X1 when 95% of the games are on PC and play far better. The fact remains there are very little exclusive games to get excited about right now. This is always confirmed by the inevitable fanboy (usually a PS4 one) who
will proceed to say "good luck playing unreleased game xy...

Yes this is true. The PC industry brings in more revenue than the console industry. However, as you mentioned this is largely because PC's enjoy spending big bucks on their PC's

I happen to think the cover system in such an open world is great - I have awesome shootouts . I've even come to appreciate the driving.. hint - using the handbrake combats understeer.
Not too sure why people rag on the gamepay other that if it was running like a slideshow on their rig or console.

Umm no fanboy. I've had Tekken 1-3 on PS1, 4 and TT on PS2, Tekken 5 on PS3 - and I never wanted #6 or #7. I've also got all the tekkens on emulator and Tekken 5 DR on PSP.

Every game I have runs beautifully through SLI apart from the relic pre-SLI DOS games like Doom etc
