Not to mention all the other games. If you want to play classics like L4D2 at 1080p 60fps.. where else can you do that? Not on my 360.

Agreed. Under 60fps is always better than 30fps. In 2014 every game should be this standard. To my surprise and disappointment with the new consoles, that's not the case.
And what happens to our gaming session if we can't connect to the almighty 'cloud'.
If its running at 30fps its not running very good. If its running good its probably because its at 60fps

I tend to agree with this. There's little to be gained from Rockstars being so hamfisted with information and not sharing an approximate release date. There's a point where all this "we can neither confirm or deny" nonsense simply doesn't generate hype, but rather resentment. Umm fimlic effect at 24-30fps. That's the worst PR spin ever. Cameras have lens and exposure which creates a blur effect in between frames. Games don't. Games are totally different to movies.

Hefty yes, lazy no. Uncompressed high res textures, sound and maps etc.. it all adds up. Who cares how big it is if the game turns out to be good.
These games aren't even out yet mate. So mute point. They can look as pretty as they want in a screen shot but if it plays like a slide show that's pretty lame. PM me if they ever manage to hit 1080p 60fps. Anything less from this gen is underwhelming.
I would have. I wanted at console that could at least manage the 1080p 60fps standard.
What we got was a cheap old hardware that does sub HD and 30fps. What a waste of a chance to take gaming to the next level.
This is without a doubt the most disappointing gen of consoles without a doubt.
