The amount of decent exclusives to both consoles has been barebones at best and you know it. The fact we're seeing so many remasters only highlights the fact.

I'd agree with you. I also fall into that 1% (THB I think it's more than that), but paying $600 for something I won't always be using is a tad too rich.
I can justify paying this amount for a monitor because I'm likely to use it all the time.

Steam still rocks. Just bought ARK for $15, Dying light for $18. I'm still hooked on Killing Floor 2 and Wreckfest. I've got everything I need...all 331 games. My poor lonely consoles.

It's likely against the platforms fair use agreement but that doesn't magically make it illegal. If you own the disc.. Game on.

It's always been like this. You have always had to earn things in Fighters.
eg Tekken 2 had 10 characters .. then 15 unlock-able ones - no cheats.. just earn your right to play as them.
