5820k is a solid choice. Got one myself at 4.5 Ghz - it's an absolute animal.
Dying Light has been my highlight of this year. Great game, great studio.
I've always been very vocal that this gens consoles needed to be more powerful. I agree that Sony and MS should have taken a loss like previous gens and used better hardware. This, and so many games stuck at sub 1080p, or 1080p reduced settings and 30fps isn't a good sign so early on.
Multiplatform games sales aren't that far behind PS4 you do know. Ubisoft sales on PC were only 5% behind PS4 and infront of X1.
I think you underestimate the PC platfrom. It brings in more money than all the consoles put together.
Steam need to factor in 144hz monitors. I'm a fps addict and am still using a 1080p monitor but running most games at 144 fps.
Suffice to say 60fps vs 144fps is another experience

Theres no reason Steam users need to have their Credit Card details saved to their accounts other than convenience. It's not like they have to pay monthly subscriptions.
Im happy I never had them saved to my account and mostly use PayPal .

Last time I checked I was running games at 144fps maximum settings . Pretty sure I can't do that on my PS4 yet.
