Why? First off the company is penny stock. Sony or Toshiba could by them out with out blinking an eye. Second NME needs strong backing with the movie industry. Third for NME to succeed it needs to advertise like crazy. Below is the company stock information. I could go on, but why bother my first statement about Sony or Toshiba buying them if they are a threat. Sony and Toshiba have invested a lot into their format, they wont let some small company beat them.

Not too much for HD-DVD to brag about. They did exclude the playstation 3. Also when the ps3 $399 model is released it going to crush HD-DVD.

$399 is a great bargain. Who cares if it has less usb and no memory card reader. It would have been nice if it was BC with the ps2. Hopefully Sony makes a software emulator for the BC. But what is up with the less vents? Does it cost more to cut some holes?
Microsoft did a lot of things right with the xbox360 but made a big mistake with the core with no hard drive and HD-Drive. The Devs are having problems now with disk space. What will it be like in three years from now. Gamers always want more and better every year.

I'm not saying Sony is going to reach that goal, but $399 for a blu ray player WOW. It's going to be a hot item for christmas. It seems like a lot of people forget that it is a blu ray player as well as a gaming console.

Two 8800 is all you need right now why go for 3 (and the price). Use the savings and upgrade the cpu, memory, hard drive, etc...
Nvidia should go in this direction of their GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics card. Imagine two 8800 GX2 in your SLI thats 4 cards total

Why the hell would Sony sell this tv for a loss. I can understand selling the PS3 for a loss to win the HD format war. I can't see any benefits right now on releasing a 11" tv for $1,500.00. Why, don't they wait until they can find cheaper ways to produce and then release the tv.
If the game doesn't have single play I just don't buy it. One of the main reasons I did not get warhawk.
I always play the single play first then I goto multiplayer. Who wants to be a noob or play like one? Better off doing that in single play and learn your game first, before going on-line.
According to VP Mark Rein
"The biggest challenge in doing cross platform play is syncronizing [sic] the builds such that the build on the PC is 100% compatible with the build on the PS3," said Rein. "Unfortunately (or fortunately) when you [develop] games on console you have a lengthy certification process to go through each time you release anything new."
It looks like were never going to have PC vs Console on any new game.

Just like one game wont end the war. The console war will not be decided by next year. Next year will only be Sony's 2nd birthday. The war will just be starting.
PS2 has sold over 115 million! and is still selling strong. A few years in the future most of those gamers will probably switch to the PS3 because it will play their old games. ...
