Well this sounds like a win win for everyone. I'm going to pick up the God of War 1 & 2 when it comes out. Unfortunatly for me I never played the series. I diffently want to plat this before God of War 3 comes out.
My 60giger just stop reading disk after the 3.0 update. Sony informed me that it was not the update and this is a known problem. I have to pay $150.00 + tax to get it fix. I'm going to get it fix, but has anyone else had this problem.
I bought my ps3 slim on friday the 28th. I down loaded all my games through the transaction management the same day. Everything worked fine to me including the buggy Battlefield 1943.
Time to dust off my old copy and give it a try.

I agree with everything you said except for the sale numbers. I think Sony will sell just as much over their 10 year span. I not saying every PS3 bought will be for gaming, I believe a lot of people will buy it for the Blu-Ray player.

I never had a motherboard fail with ASUS.
Ibuypower.com used to have a lot of complaints with their service department. I look them up on BBB (Better Business Bureau) they are rated B- (Not that bad, not that great).

I do just the opposite. I always look at ASUS then I look at MSI then the Gigabyte. I usually buy ASUS, but if I can save alot on the other two I will switch. I never had a problem with ASUS or MSI. Only had few problems with the Gigabyte.
All three (ASUS, MSI & Gigabyte) make great products.
Free radical Dev was not really bashing the PS3. He was trying to complment the new Cry-Engine. It not a secret that the PS3 is hard to program for. Below from the article:
