I'm really shock that the $99 HD-DVD stand-alone could not out sell the expensive Blu Ray stand-alone's during the holidays. I guess thats why WB went exclusive to Blu Ray.

Even if your prediction is true it's a great move by Sony. WB is huge and everyone in the industry was saying that if you win the support of WB you win the format war.

RIAA will not win the argument over illegal copies. You are allow to make back-ups of your investment. However sharing your copies is illegal and the RIAA will win that portion of the case.
Try using Convert X-to-DVD, DVDSanta 4, or Movkit Batch Video Converter. I recommend you have Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) installed on your computer.
Warner made up their minds on which side to pick. I thought for sure Warner would hold out for another year. Let's hope this will be the final nail in the coffin for the format war.
I was looking forward to this game(s), until I read this review. It figures EA is working on the game and having problems with it working on the ps3.
AC is great game and hopefully great sequel. Some reviewers gave it bad score for being repetitive, but all games are repetitive.
It serves them right for trying to out bid the competition by using a spidering software. Virgin is honoring their mistake/setup. Maybe next time Tesco will hire a person to check a price instead of a computer.

Let's face it both console are flawed.
PS3 only weakness I see is the memory. Like we all know the devs always find a way around this. I haven't read anything from the devs about the RSX being flawed. If anyone has any please share I would love to read the article.

There is some truth and false in everyone's statement. Frame rates usually drop because of lack of memory or inefficient use of. But, better program does help with memory problems. Perfect example is the PS2 with it's anemic memory. I remembered when the PS2 was first launched, I laughed my a$$ off on how little it had. But, I was proven wrong down the road on how well the games look years down the road.

Unified memory is way better, then dedicated memory. Dedicated memory usually has some waste with the GPU. But, Microsoft and Sony should have added more memory than their 512mb. 1gig should have been the minimum. I would of like to see 2gigs in these consules. Then what will the Devs. complain about?

I agree Mk_Red, why do the next gen consoles have weakness already. I'm very disappointed with both systems with their weakness, I thought they were next gen. Why wouldn't Sony and Microsoft just throw in 2 gigs of memory. This way the devs can't complain about memory issues. Also no hard drive for the core was not a good idea, this hurts when your try to cram everything on a dvd. MS have some hard decisions, about forcing people with the hard drive and possible the hd-dvd in the future.
I think the company that is hosting the virtual world such be the judge and jury. The 4th comment by Daye in the article sums it up. But, and a big but the person who was stealing code from Alderman and his company Eros and selling it on second life as his own should be allowed in the courts.
Everyone who bought a DX10 card is getting screwed. Releasing DX11 now is way to fast.
