Never! Look at the top 20 games on offer on each side. The WiiU has more AAA games AND they are of a higher quality than those of the Vita. On top of that, the Wii U has more and better exclusives.
Moreover, the WiiU being a home console is expected to have less games than its handheld counterparts seeing as handheld games need less time and resources to produce. Heck the Vita has more games than the PS4 but it would be ridiculous to conclude that the Vita has more support. ...

Totally spaced on sending the list.
"Continued support or not... " um that's the whole point of the discussion!
Ps, again, I don't have a Wii...
Uncharted? Killzone? What is this? 2011?
The topic at hand is about continued support, not celebrating the heyday of a console whose manufacturer ignores it.
Here is a list of 2015 Wii U and Vita games. Look to the top 20 on each side and note the obscure niche JRPGs I mentioned and how the the Top 20 of the Vita only has one game published by Sony and zero made by a Sony studio.
So I take it that's a no on having anything of value to add to the conversation. Talking about being on an ignore list...
Ps, spamming my inbox with messages I won't read was a tad much.
I actually have no horse in this race. I do not own a WiiU but I'm not blind. The few quality games that Nintendo makes for the WiiU far outstrip the shovelware and niche jrpgs that the Vita survives on.
Now unless YOU eat up everything Sony allows to be tossed at the Vita with a smile you will understand that quality games means more support than "oh yeah, we have a handheld device, you can put it on that if you want."
Thank you? Did you have anything pertinent to add to the subject at hand or are you happy counting how many people don't like what I have to say?
WiiU is far more supported than the Vita, especially by its manufacturer. Nintendo does not depend on third party games to keep it afloat, they put in the effort to support their product.
The bucket. Worst supported current gen console by a mile. It's shameful that Sony are pretty much relying on 3rd party developers to bring games to a console they created and all but abandoned.
*crickets*
"It is also implicitly rubbishing Nintendo's hardware sales and implies that Nintendo will be doing a Sega -which I disagree with."
Um no it isn't. He was asked a simple question and he answered it. All this stems from the fact that MS is publishing Minecraft on the WiiU and Phil having said that it was a pleasant experience.
Absolutely nothing to do with undermining the WiiU console sales.
Id rather see thousands of people lose their jobs and livelihood than see more games on consoles that I do not obsessively worship - Ashlen logic.
Yes, evident in their recent show where they showed only 2 first party titles(one already announced and the other just embarrassing) and relied on 3rd party dlc deals, indies and awful VR demos to fill the rest of the show...
No wait I'm thinking of another company, my bad. Disregard.
World hunger must surely be on its way out because Viva Pinata, a Microsoft owned IP, is on the Nintendo DS...
Your move UltraNova.
Rather quiet delivering Halo 5, RotTR, Forza 6 and free 360 BC this holiday season.
Also their last conference was a blast. Gamescom was just as awesome as E3. I was under the impression that MS had "blown their load" at E3 and SONY were holding back because of Paris and PSX...or at least thats what people here kept saying.
Yo DK, bet you wont be saying anything bad about SONY again in a long time huh? Welcome to what the rest of us have been saying all along. The PS4 has become the iPhone of the gaming market and we all know how iSheeple are about their precious overhyped piece of plastic and circuits.
Ah what? https://tse1.mm.bing.net/th...
Making VR games. Heavens that Santa Monica zombie game was cringe worthy! It's Kinect all over again!
Who published Viva Piñata on the DS? Certainly not Microsoft so this must be a first. Cool! Now do Mario Galaxy on The One, Nintendo! Hehe
Minecraft is not an indie game. It is owned and being published by one of the biggest publishers in the industry, Microsoft. The indie in indie developer stems from the word independent.
What's happening bro? You are on an article about backwards compatibility bitching at people who are excited about games becoming backwards compatible...? What gives?
You realise that there people who own these games digitally but have sold their 360s right? Or simply those do not want to have to switch between the two consoles to play 360 games
