My phat ps3 died within 6 months of purchase and Sony made me take it to their repair centre 65kms away where I received a refurbished one with a 3 month warranty rendering 3 months of my initial 12 month warranty void.
Little did I know at the time that once a phat ps3 got ylod there could be no permanent solution. Needless to say, less than 5 months later my refurbished also gave up the ghost and I had to pay $150 for yet another refurbished ps3 if I wanted to continue with playst...
