Red Faction was not an open world game. You couldn't access all the areas all the time.
Besides, it makes very little sense story wise for a peacekeeper to level an entire city in the pursuit of bringing peace to said city.

I just like games and features for my console. MS is giving me both in spades so I am very pleased.
This is a PC game as well, no matter how much Sony want to treat it like a first party game.
