I've already got it. Traded in a bunch of movies at my local b&m, got the game for $15.

I think it's all about quality. I consider myself a singleplayer story driven gamer. With that said I've lost myself in some worlds and loved it, Diablo and Star Wars galaxies (before CU/NGE) comes to mind...even the original halos had that feel for me.

The problem is the quality of the experience. If these devs would create these "live games" with some kind of quality or uniqueness I'd love to lose myself into those worlds for years. However it feels ...

Download size is 45?

Are review copies usually smaller in size than the retail release? I'm just kind of curious of overall disk size.

How about character level, acquired skills, ect...(sorry it's been forever since I played so unsure everything involved)

Can't transfer characters?!

Doesn't this ruin the idea that destiny is some console mmo, if your progress doesn't continue.....

They are hiding that it's the same thing as the original trilogy. Just a "next-gen" coat of paint. I think that's what will make this mediocre, is that it's lacking that originally from the originals, the IP is no longer "new" and "fresh".

I have a weird feeling about this...

Rockstar has the right to focus on multiplayer if they wish. Although I do feel this is a ploy towards revenue than some kind of quality argument.

It's also concerning for single player focused gamers. To take a single player game such as GTA and go multiplayer seems to bite the hand that feeds, i.e. you're turning your back on the story driven single player that got you where you are today and alienating those...

This is the problem. One side hates the other for their judgmental attitude, only to have that same side judge the other just as harshly. What ever happened to freedom of thought and agreeing to disagree instead of bashing those who do not agree with you?

Modern society (rolls eyes)

Edit: it just tears at the fabric of freedom. It's an extreme case but it's basically new segregation...

The problem is you telling people how they should vote/live. Modern society seems to forget the idea of American freedom and instead replace it with "my way or the highway" mentality. We need to get back to agreeing to disagree and stop judging others based on their opinions/lifestyle. Freedom of thought people.

The behemoth they talk about is called a K-wagen. A German super-heavy tank of which 2 prototypes were produced but never finished.

What I always wonder....

On one hand they say that games/subscriptions are the actual money maker. With this said you'd think a console would want to ride it's massive console install size as long as possible....more consoles buying more games...

On the other hand the faster you reach market saturation on the console the sooner you'll run out of room to grow.

So with this how would one determine the right time for a new cons...

I haven't had a handheld since the original game boy/game boy color so wasn't sure.

I wonder how often they'll get lost. Like if we'll start hearing stories about lost games. The fact they are smaller than say a phone or CD (tiny) makes me question.

I've been thinking about this.

It seems as if Nintendo relies too much on its own past glory. This is fine for the Nintendo generation BUT it is aging. The "new kids" seem more interested in the likes of high tech and 4k. Nintendo seems unable to adapt to the "new generation" of gamer.

It's the adapt or die dilemma.

Curious what y'all think about this thought?

Maybe Nintendo is stuck in an "adapt or die" dilemma.

First you could say that games sell systems. hardware is nothing without software to play on them.

With that in mind it feels that Nintendo has relied to much on their staples (Mario, Zelda...) the past decade or so. Current generations are focused on cod, fallout, 4K. Even devs (third party) seek power in order to creat thei...

Used to be we felt things would be better when the "old farts" died off. I now think they are just being replaced by "social justice warriors". Where did level heads and reasoning go?!??
