I'm just curious if these will live up to my altec lansings, any thoughts?
he says there are other tower defense/RTS games out there that are better? In terms of being able to kill masses of time, like on a bus ride in dc, RTS does come to mind.
What are better RTS games for the IPhone that he seems to speak about?
I have a pair of these Altec Lansings (see image below), I got them 4-5 years ago and they are LOVELY!!!! I recently got the family a pair for the living room and that pair has always kind of cut out during certain sharp sounds, it's probably a defect.
My question would be, would it be worth it to upgrade to these logitechs? My altecs are AMAZING so would these Lgitechs live up to it?
If so I'd just give the family my old altecs to replace the def...
I don't feel a need, it's just more of a time issue and having enough of it. Kind of picking your battles in life, and well eventually job, school, and rent payments will win lol.
not that I disagree with you. But doesn't anyone play games for the singleplay/story anymore. I'm only 22 but I sure do...too many people just skip over it and judge on multiplayer alone.
I couldn't agree more. This generation is so "perfect" to me at least, and for someone who's getting ready for grad school and is just kind of moving away from gaming.....this is a great generation to go out on, it's so good I could just stock up a great library of games and keep my ps3/360 as like my own little arcade without jumping onto the next generation of consoles.
Strictly for the amazing, historical, realistic war that is currently going on. Like the ww2 days of old, a game based on something real that we can see on tv, not some Tom Clansey action flick like COD.
It's too run and gun anymore....I wish it was more tacticle and more swat/breach and clear type play. Where each player has a role and you running in a military type format, not this every man for himself style shooting.
they had it right a long time ago. O the days of golden eye and halo 2. The days when you could play online and or splitscreen with your buddies. If anything they just kind of pushed it too far, mucked up the water persay. KISS, keep is simple stupid.
I'm in the same boat. Aside from buying it used, story would be my only reason for continuing.
as I've grown to hate COD/MW due to the infinity ward fiasco......I must admit I'm a sucker for a story, so playing mw3 in hopes of finishing the storyline will be nice. Aside from the story being my main focus i'd have to wait and get it used.
who is new the the iphone and smartphones in general, I can't put the thing down. I never was a big phone person, my last phone was a motorola razor and after five years I upgraded to the iphone 4. So for not being a big phone person, the fact that I can't put this thing down is testiment to me that they did something right.
sounds like a mix between Wheat and Barley.....
Wheat Barley!......if you get my reference good for you.
Fratres usque ad aram fidelis!
I in no way look at this generation and say "hey, we need an upgrade." I'm definately satisfied for the time being.
I agree with Inane, I'm not sold on it yet but it's not like tech won't catch up.
Sony/MS both will most likely grandfather cloud gaming into it's networks....instead of going make or break on cloud gaming they'll dip there tow into the water while still having the relable disk based back up.....over the next 20 years or so as tech gets better is when we'll see more and more consoles go digital distrubition only. But as for right now disks and cloud ...
Firstly it's beta....but secondly and almost more importantly it's multiplayer...there are only so many ways you can shoot someone.
What I'm excited for is the singleplayer, I believe it's the singleplay that will make it great. A great story that is based off a real event and is something more realistic than the Tom Clancy hollywood stuff of COD. So heres to singleplay being amazing:)
french revolution would be great...then for ac4 maybe east/west germany during he berlin wall blockade?
yeah the fact that the lines are there when the video starts I think is a little odd. From the video it looks like the lines could be there when a wii, or ps3 is being played. it could just be a tv issue vs a console issue.
my question is this idea of not being in an entertainment setup. I can understand the crowding issues. My 360 and ps3 are both in an entertainment system type shelving.....yet there is easily 6-12 inches of "free air" space arround all sides of boths systems. So my question is this ok, or what does justify "free air space" ?
As someone who is currently stuck with att&t.....
but all that aside, I picked up the iphone 4. It is my first smartphone and I LOVE it, I personally haven't had any of the reception or sensor issues people talk about.
