So is this the surprise they were talking about?
Same here, fore it's all about the singleplayer.
I would have to agree, halo without master chief or mgs without snake...it's like a mario game without mario lol.
I just can't make up my mind really. I love star wars so it would be natural to pick this up. I however have heard extremely mixed reviews on the first, kind of like splinter cell conviction I've heard it's a great game and I've heard it's horrible.
Although I will admit that boba fett trailer is nice.
So what do I do lol?
This will be my first limited edition of any kind. I've had chances to get others, halo 3, mw2, ect. But this is the first one to really intrest me, so I do hope it's something special. From the video the statues do look like really good quality.
I knew a halo movie had always been in the rattled around, but clicking the imdb link and seeing a expected 2012 release is kind of nice.
yeah I watched the unboxing video and the statue does look like really good quality. It was the unboxing video that official convenced me it's something I should at least preorder. I did the next day at best buy lol.
yeah this is the first limited edition i've ever come across that kind of catching my eye. I guess it's the artist in me and the whole statue thing. I'm just curious if it'll end up like mw2 where they are still on store shelves 6 months later or if it truely is something special.
NO!
I've never bought a limited edition but am keeping an eye on the reach set. The quality of the statue and them talking like they are numbered makes me wonder just how limited they'll be, unlike the halo 3 helmets.
I just picked up mirrors edge after trading in bfbc2 and odst. Although force unleashed and brothers in arms looks intrigueing.
I couldn't agree more about the atmosphere. that's why this game is a must buy for me in terms of singleplayer. The atmosphere and being based on real events like the afghanistan war or the ww2 games of old is what I'm so excited for. Being a history major this is like Gold for me lol.
I'm so tired of hearing people say that it sucks, it's just like cod and adds nothing new. Well it's a FPS what else do you expect, you point and shoot, that's it. I'm only 22 but I've always been much more of a singleplayer person than a multiplayer one. Singleplayer is all about the story, again multiplayer is all the same so it's not as great to me as singleplayer is. Besides I don't have time to get pissed on by those who don't have a life.
I'm not big on collectors editions. I've only bought the ones that are really history making.....at the time halo 3 with it's record sales, I bought it's limited edition. Modern Warfare 2 I bought the limited edition again due it it's record sales. Now for halo Reach, I'll bit the bullet and finally pick up a Legendary edition. They are talking a true collectable and it being Bungies last I feel like it'll be worth it.
I got to admit that is pretty impressive. It's stuff like this that make me question why I should adopt the 720/ps4. Things like LBP2 and Halo Reach...just wow, WOW!
It also make me question microft and how they can live up to what Bungie has done with the franchise. After seeing that I'm in doubt as to if I'd ever play a halo game that isn't made my Bungie.
they are taking a year off after this one, which is good. I think one of the mainly reasons this one is coming out so soon is because it really doesn't need much of an upgrade in terms of engine ect from the previous one. I'm still hopeful for AC as a series so AC:B and AC:3 bring it on!
I see peoples argument about the "generic shooter" but that's exactly the reason why I've always bought my games and even FPS strictly for there immersive singleplayer. The fact that medal of honor is based on reality and not some tom clancy novel is a definatly plus. Because when it gets down to it the multiplayer is all the same, not to mention I have a life and don't have the time to get stomped on by those that don't.
I don't see how people are reading it that way. Maybe i'm reading it the wrong way, idk. Any store can sell cigarets and other products...but when a kids goes to the counter with them there is NO WAY they are going to be sold. It's the same with video games. The system doesn't need to change, it just needs to be enforced and I think this law does that. It would make it flat out understood that you can't sell games to minors if that minor was to walk into walmart and do so....
I'm as much of a gamer as the next guy and I support this. There is no reason for minors to play games like gta. They can't smoke, drink, or see r rated movies ect. Why should they be allowed to rape or throw a nun under a train in a videogame.
