I don't like the idea of console exclusives being games of the year. To me a game of the year is based on the fun it gives to everyone, not just those who own that particular console.
I just find this flawed. I don't even read the articles, i'll admit, but the title itself just seems flawed. The majority of people who own a console aren't going to own a gaming rig able to play fps on anyway. For the majority it's usually one or the other. I just don't understand....comit all time to pc or all time to console.....not both.
I didn't even read the article but the title says "PC shooters you should play instead of halo reach." Chances are that if you have an xbox for halo then you won't have a PC for shooters anyway. Or vis versa....in my head it's usually one or the other. Thus I feel this is flawed.
Weren't halo 3 Preorders something like 3 million. I remember thinkn how ther was 1% of us pop. So it still hasn't reached the level of halo 3, do you think it will?
As much as I hate to say this, I probably won't be able to refuse buying this lol.
I always play the campaign first, for the story and to get used to the controls and feel.
the last midnight launch I went to was halo 2. Aside from that I'm pretty much stuck picking up my games until after work at 6. I just refuse to take the day off of work/school for a game, I guess it's a principle kind of thing.
I do feel like this review is way too one sided. How can you even justifiably review a game if you don't go into it with a non bias opinion. Games should be judged on their character and not on console of choice.
I need to pick up l4d 1 and 2. I've played 1 before but traded it back in. But for longevity and the odd chance I want to play with zombies it is something that's needed in my collection.
I'm neither ready to Move or Kinect. I'll stick to my standard controls thank you very much. :)
That is one thing about bungie, is from my experience it's been pretty solid in multiplayer and glitch and cheat free for the most part.
Idk if this is trolling but fore the original 60g looks amazing now that the 360 is all black and chrome as well.
personally, for me it is. But I know others will like it.
The only upgrade from the limited to the legendary is the statue, aside from that it's all the same stuff.
as it sits, according to these lists....I am missing l4d series for the 360 and the resistance series for the ps3. Aside from that I'm pretty spot on with these lists and my collections.

I don't watch wrestling but the fact that this guy was once a real world cast member I find HILARIOUS!
But a vp shunt keeps me from joining. But it's grad school coming up and just having "larger fish to fry" that will make this my last generation. But hey I feel it's a good one to go out on. Look at all the amazing games we were given and the graphics? Besides with this infinity ward crap and now xbox live hike I just kind feel it's time. Either way I'll be enjoying the amazing library that is this generation for years to come.
god of war 3 is the reason I bought my ps3. while halo was the obvious reason for my xbox buy.
