This makes me want to get into pc gaming. Now I'm just waiting for the specs so I know what kind of pc to look for.

I feel the same way. With all the crap with activision and infinity ward, I've come to hate COD. did not pick up black ops. Still from a story stand point I am curious as to how the story will play out. They talked about "the war ends" do you think this could be the end of this particular story?

Gorebago is this from ordering online, that's where I'd be ordering from? I think part of the others issues is that they are ordering from a local store. We don't have a store here so id order from online, is online more reliable?
Does Hastings supply the original case/manuels? I'm thinking about pcking up a few games but have never used Hastings and don't much about their used games quality.

When star wars galaxies first released, I loves it. Before all the nge stuff. So I do hope this one is just as good, I'm looking out for it.

hell no it wouldn't be cool. If they add much more than improved graphics and online, I'll be pissed. Combat evolved was a great game, they better not go ruining my childhood memory of it by adding a bunch of crap to satisfy the kiddies. If you really want to play combat evolved, pick up the original. But leave my beloved halo ce pretty much alone!

So question? Ive been out of the pc market for awhile and have never been very hardcore. I enjoyed my days of diablo, starcraft, and star wars galaxies. But when it comes to things like Crysis I just never jumped in. I'm just not a pc guy, but with things like diablo 3 and battlefield 3 around the corner, i want to jump back in lol. would this article/rig do a noob like me any good?

I could never get into this, idk just looking at and the way it plays.... But for that price it may be worth it. Any thoughts on it?

Just add a simple on line component and a small tweak to the graphics. That's it!!!! If they start adding stuff that destroy the greatness what was combat evolved I will be pissed. It's like when they made sandlot 2, it ruined my childhood memories of the original sandlot. Please don't screw this up!
