I swear, no matter what happens or what games will we be playing last, at the end of this gaming generation, it still won't feel complete if this idiot don't get what he deserves (and it's not a pet in the back). Couldn't agree more. A good story is always good and important, but if the gameplay can't catch up, the game is a no go. I would even go so far as to say we can have a wonderful game without a great story (Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario, Demons Soul, Borderlands, Diablo, etc...), but we can't have a wonderful game with great story and bad gameplay. Then again, what keeps in the way of having both, like Uncharted, MGS or Mass Effect? Just indolence, I would guess.

Exactly. You control the chosen party leader, while the rest of the party is controled by the AI - which does not act on gambits (you don't have any control over them whatsoever). And yes, it does sucks.

I am not a Tales fan, but I was dying to play Vesperia, and I could play it only on the ps3 since I don't have an 360. TOG:F holds no interest to me... I'm still waiting for the good news. I'm still waiting for that long overdue announcement. :/
In short: make it look like XII, since that game had all of those listed whishes! People goes on and on about how terrible XII was, but personaly, I loved it!
- Give us more freedom (or any freedom at all, for that matter...);
- Bigger maps to explore;
- An clear protagonist as well as an antagonist;
- Incentive to explore (like secret areas and/or bosses/enimies/equipments/ques ts);
- Interesting side-quests (with some shade of history to it);
- Remove the auto-battle;
- Let us customize our characters and play style on our own the way we want it, instead of the way they were idealized by the program...

Na-hun, it didn't suck at all. In fact, it was pretty much the only thing in the whole game that didn't suck! Both fauna and flora where very rich, beautiful and kept me curious to see what would came next!
I know I know... it's quite dumb of me, but I'm always willing to give Final Fantasy games another chance - even when titles like X-2 and XIII are released. I didn't had a very good time with XIII (the second FF I didn't bother to play 'till the end... guess which was the first!), but I'm still quite excited about XIII-2. If they've learned with their mistakes on the last entry, they may come up with the FF game that we all have been waiting for!
Sony have my 110% support on this! Ban those hackers once and for all!

I hope there will be another beta - open to everyone this time around. I'm very interested, but it's a pricy game with a pricy sub fee that (probably) demands commitment. So, for me at least, is quite hard to try the leap of faith on this one when there is so many ridiculous triple A's (many of which, ps3 first party) coming this year!
