Developers don't usually listen to their fan base. All they do see are numbers. Sale numbers. So, if you, resident evil fan, want to be listened, do NOT contribute to those sales. When the numbers start to drop, they’ll start to listen. It’s a simple enough concept, but unfortunately, people are incapable of think of anything but immediate satisfaction of their urges – and in doing so, they feed developer' laziness and disrespect purchasing their mediocre products.

Could you play Lighting as a sentinel? Could Fang be a good ravenger? What about Snow as a Medic? Hope, as a commando? Anyway, I guess one could try, but the game makes crystal clear which roles each characters should play, and you can't get far should you try anything different then that. So it IS an restrictive system.

Anyone having problem with socom beta? I've downloaded the beta (400mb or so), downloaded a 30mb patch, and then... nothing. I keep receving an menssege telling me to sign in and download another patch - which I don't know how to as I'm already signed in... :/
