"Our guess: This is Ninja Gaiden III's version of morality -- the more brutal your play style, the more the demon corruption spreads."
I really hope they're wrong. This would be just another unpleasent cosmetic feature (like purple essence instead of blood) that would ruin the game for me. It's stupid as it is cosmetic - I know - but I can't help it but feeling that way. If violence will be punished with demon corruption, I'll stay away from th...
I guess they would rather see the game dying than go f2p. What a shame... I really would like to play it, but I just can't afford to. :(
This is among my top 5 games this year. Give me inFamous 2, Uncharted 3, White Knight Chronicles 2, Dark Soul and Mass Effect 3 and I'll be happy for a very very long time -- as a matter of fact, I don't think I would need anything else 'till next year!
Yeah, right? Old Monk must have been one of the scariest bosses in the game, for you could neve know what to expect. Hope they keep it too!
I kind of agree, although there isn't much competition, is it? :)
Yes, the impossible gr grinding was what pulled me off. Hope they can take it easy this time around. I even like grinding in rpg's (a lot!), but in this one (Big Red?), it was poorly done and very tiresome. Still loved it, though - and got scarely addicted to it! haha
Can't... be teased... anymore. Must... play... now!
Amem!
Not only have they kept the quality bar, but they also kept innovating it's mechanics with every new entry, both in small and big ways.
None, although I'm a bit curious about L.A. Noire. Still haven't bought MK yet (I know, shame on me!), so this will be my may game.
I didn't even knew that Sonic 2 were on psn! Might get that... or Oddworld. But are those games free or offered at a discount? I would rather it was the second case, so I may keep it when the free trial is off.
I think it's all about time. FPS are less time consuming than other genres. Also, multiplayer is mandatory in this case, so it's esier to just pick'n'play for that quick thrill with your friends.
Sorry, I reply in an impulse, thinking about the ps3 alone (which is my system of choice). Also, thinking about the present, not future. Take a moment to compare the genres on this system. When you've grown use to the last generation, it's hard to see the rpgs under sony' flag as abundant. Although I do agree that things are getting better and that 2011 seems to be a great year to rpg fans.
When you have first person rpg's and role playing shooters you may get the picture on how FPS and shooters are becoming gamers new obsession.
I can almost feel the disagrees already, but I'm with gravemaker. Portables are invisible to me. And not everyone can afford to play on every system - especially when you live here, in Brazil, where a ps3 cost something around $900, while it's games, go for $130. I have a ps3 and that's it. And there's an awful lack of rpgs in my game collection.
If only...! Rpgs are becoming scarce in this generation. It's like seasons: the last one was the rpg season; now we're living in fps season. I wonder what will be next.
"One big change is that your positioning matters now during combat. You have to be close enough to an enemy to hit it, and where you stand will also affect how much damage you do and how accurate you're going to be."
Beautiful! That was my biggest complaint about the first one, and now it's fixed! So happy to read this! This game can't came soon enought!!
Oh gee, please say it isn't so!
pff...
Day one, happily and for sure!! :)
Assassin's Creed 2 were praised on every corner of the web. So was AC: Brotherhood. Imo, if it's good, keep it coming.
I guess so. I didn't get it either.
