The original MGS is the grand father of all stealth games. Re-playing old titles is always a great idea, nothng beats re-living those great moments in gaming.

SOmetimes having too large of a sandbox is apronlem and just causes you to get sidetracked and ignore the main story. Linearity can be good to keep gamers focused.
Borderlands used the RPG element very well and it made the game a lot of fun. What it did not incorporate was a story or allowing players to go beyond the level 50 cap whihc makes the game pointless once you max out. What someone needs to do is make a shooter MMORPG as in give WoW characters guns like Borderlands, that would be a lot of fun.
Gamertags express who you are, unless you are Gay and are on Xbox Live, then they take your account down. that was a big mess for some gamers.
Sometimes gamertags are serious, funny, or even irrelevant. It is interesting to hear why certain gamers chose their alter ego names. Sometimes people just try to see how many X and O's they can fit it.
Rhythm games in general are fun to play with others but they try too hard to reach a broad audience that there are songs from too many genres.

Many would feel that it would lack the same power of its original ancestors. A western developed FF game would be shun by many just because of where it was developed.
